Galil Moving & Storage

I hired galil moving to move my wife and I from a single bedroom in Brooklyn to a 2 bedroom in queens. After hearing about a lot of horror stories, We were prepared for anything.

Before we actually hired anyone, we called 5 or 6 movers that...

after hearing many stories about moving companies i heard about Galil from a friend who used them and was really happy with the service. the movers were very professionals and careful with my furniture. i am glad i did not take a chance and used other company.

Pros: Individual representatives courteous
Cons: sloppy in handling and detail.

I contracted Galil about 9 months ago for a move from New Jersey (Galil home) and did not have a good experience with them. They lost a number of items and things were broken. The unload, even though it was only to storage was haphazard with no real accounting. Speed was more important than details. I was promised a refund from their next to worthless insurance if I signed an agreement not to hold them accountable. I have yet to receive the check after more than nine months.

I would recommend the man with a van to anyone who needs a mover. Not only are they extremely affordable and reliable, but they also did a tremendous job. I would recommend them to anyone.
