Pros: Durable, makes coffee in less then three minutes. Cons: None
It finally came in the mail. This machine is a little more basic looking then the last one, but a stainless steel tank just waiting to be filled with water. I anxiously unpacked it and make sure it was all there. Okay youre asking what came in ...
Pros: Quick brewing time, hot coffee Cons: No timer, machine is always on
After my Cuisinart Grind and Brew broke, I felt it was time to move on to something new. The grinder was messy and and coffee wasn't that hot. One day at Sears, I noticed that Bunn had a consumer machine so I began to research it online. After reading ...
In one word, this thing was abominable. I can't think of a positive thing that came from my experience with the Bunn Pour-O-Matic. It was praised to high almighty. Oh yes, and I bought all of the hype. I went to Amazon.com to check the reviews. ...
Pros: Caffeine Addict Friendly,
3 minute brew time,
My last Bunn ran for 10 years Cons: Would feel better with an automatic shut off,
Could look a little less commercial
We thought it was about time to replace our 10 year old house warming present - a Bunn Commercial Quality Coffee Maker. Can you believe that a coffee maker that cost less than $100.00 would last for 10 years? One of the few things we own that "Owes us...
Pros: Fast coffee, fast clean up. Cons: A little bit large.
Before I got married I had a cheap, $10 coffee maker for the rare time when a visitor wanted coffee. My husband had a Bunn and said it was a great coffee maker. I was never a big coffee drinker so I really don't get excited over a coffee pot. (That ...
Pros: Makes Coffee In 3 Minutes Or Less, Consistent Coffee Flavor With Every Pot Cons: No Automatic Shutoff, Burnt Coffee Taste If Left On Warmer Plate For Long, Pricey
This Bunn BX-B 10-cup coffe brewer is a pricey but fantastic coffee maker for your home or small office. I bought one for my office, so that I can make myself a quick pot of coffee when I get to work or whenever someone stops by to visit my office during ...
Pros: Brews very fast.
Simple construction.
Made in USA. Replacement parts should be no problem. Cons: Never let the water tank run low.
Remember to shut it off while vacationing.
We bought the Bunn B10B to replace our broken 1 year old Mr. Coffee URX33. Sometimes we are enticed by timers, beepers, buttons and digital displays, and forget that all we really wanted was a good cup of coffee. Friends and relatives said they were ...
Pros: Excellent tasting coffee, made the right way. Cons: Expensive, but well worth the money.
My old coffee maker was getting quite tired, it was taking just over 20 minutes to brew a full pot. The flavor was terrible and bitter. I started to research online to find a good coffee maker to replace it with and everywhere I looked, the largest ...
Pros: Coffee is extremely hot and ready in 3 minutes. Cons: UPDATE: Bad Customer Service
I was Bunn's biggest supporter. If you read my original review I was in heaven with my new coffee maker. A recall was issued on this coffee maker by Bunn. I, like everybody else that I have read about, was not completely happy with the way that ...
Pros: You get the experience of seeing how BADLY a company can treat its customers?? Cons: Coffeepot=FIRE HAZARD, and Bunn wants me to PAY to replace the recalled unit!
I originally wrote this review back when I purchased and fell in love with my Bunn coffeemaker. However, it's a whole different ballgame now. You see, Bunn is issuing a recall on this - and other similar - coffeemakers, and the "terms" they are ...
Pros: Oh yeah....a real coffee maker! Cons: Uses electricity all the time
If you want a REAL coffee brewer, this is the ticket folks!
Its fast, easy to use, and brews kick tail coffee.
I paid $100.00 for mine and its three years old....already older than the West Bend and Mr. Coffee units that barely lasted a year....
Pros: GREAT coffee, fast brewing, great customer support, instant hot water Cons: Not good for 4 cup brewing, need to order reduced flow spray head
This coffee maker is clearly the child of it's commercial/industrial parents; It functions exactly like the commercial Bunn unit at my office. A storage tank keeps water hot at all times, which is supposed to ensure appropriate brewing temperature. ...
Pros: Fast. Consistently good coffee. Hot water always ready. Cons: Prone to leaks, requires more grounds, expensive to buy and use.
I received my first Bunn coffee maker as a gift in 1990, and since then I've gone through three. Bunn makes a good pot of coffee fast, and consistently good every time. However, because it is so fast, it requires more grounds, so you use a lot more ...
Pros: can't think of one.... Cons: messy overflow with each pot.. lack of customer support. expensive.
The bunn commercial coffee makers are great... this one, leave it on the store shelf. I owned this coffee maker for several months and hated every pot of coffee. The main flaw is that the water does not pass through the filter fast enough leading to ...
Pros: Fast great tasting coffee in any amount. Durability. Great customer service! Cons: No timer, no pause brew, always on.
December 2006 Update: ******************************
*****************************
Yes, we drink a lot of coffee. After 2000 pots (I buy filters in packs of 1000), it started to leak from the top when I poured the water in. After disassembling the top ...
Pros: Fast great tasting coffee Cons: large and the first pot after being completely turned off takes a while.
We purchased this coffee maker over a year ago to replace a 5 year old coffee maker. We had always heard Bunn made the best coffee makers and decided to give it a chance. While this coffee maker is a bit larger than others, in the end the size vs. time ...
Pros: Makes a full pot in 3 minutes Cons: Unfortunately it might burn your house down and lack of responsibility by manufacturer
This coffee maker is 'awesome' because it makes a full pot in 3 minutes - and it tastes great. Unfortunately, though, Bunn as a company leaves a lot to be desired regarding customer and product support. I received a letter from JC Penney (where I ...
Pros: Makes coffee really fast. Cons: Can't make partial pots of coffee.
I have used this model for years - but, due to damage from a recent move, I had to buy another one. I found that if I poured 8 cups of water into the machine, about 4 cups of coffee would come out. My mother had the same problem with hers. I emailed ...
Pros: Good coffee FAST! THE coffee machine for people like me! Cons: Needs a bit more preventative maintenance than the traditional coffeemaker.
If you are the type person who wants your coffee and you want it NOW, the Bunn 10 Cup Home Brewers B10-B/B10-W is the machine for you. You can get ten cups of java ready in three or four minutes.
Pros: Taste of the coffee (That's all that matters) Cons: Nothing yet.
I have gone through 5 machines in one month and decided to spend the extra money to buy a Bunn. Good decision. It was well worth the extra money. Good-bye Mr. Coffee, Braun, Krups and Cusinart; you cannot compare with my Bunn. Don't waste your time or money on other inferior machines. I understand that Bunn can make a bad machine from time to time and a customer service rep. can have a bad day, but the coffee this machine puts out makes it all worth it. It stands head and shoulders over the other coffee machines.
I wanted to get a restrictor water head for my machine; I called up Bunn's customer service and within 30 seconds I was speaking to a human. That's unheard of today. I almost enjoyed their customer service as much as I enjoyed my cup of coffee from my new Bunn
I have had my Bunn coffeemaker for 5 years. Last year, I purchased a cappuccino/coffeemaker combo, and missed my Bunn so much, I packed the new one away. So fast!
Makes a Great Cup of Coffee by MrBlues ,May 10 '04
Pros: FAST!
Consistently good coffee Cons: Always on, so uses more power than others
Must use specialty Bunn filters
I've been using the Bunn 10 cup brewer for over 4 months now. My previous unit is now a give-away. The Bunn makes excellent coffee consistently. I'm not sure of why it works better than others I've used over the years, but suffice it to say that I look forward to delicious coffee each morning nowadays.
I really like the fact that it brews 8 cups in less than 3 minutes. When I get up in the morning, I like to get that first cup of coffee ASAP, and the Bunn delivers.
In short, while other coffeemakers will provide "servicable" coffee, the Bunn will brew a pot that you'll really enjoy.
Pros: Cafe quality tasting coffee!!!! Cons: Just don't leave on all the time!
Cafe quality coffee!!! I've had mine for a year now. I use filtered water. I shut the pot off after use, and put it back on 20 min's before use. Good tasting coffee!! If u leave pot on all the time, u will have to allow for evaporation.
Pros: Fast Cons: Impossible to make the minimum 4 cups.
I like to make a large travel mug to take to work. I purchased the Bunn due to good reviews. After setting the machine up I attempted to make the minimum 4 cups, worked fine the first time. The next morning after adding the correct amount of water it made 2 cups. I added 2 more cups of water, nothing. After adding an additional 4 cups it started brewing again, making a total of 6 cups! Everytime it was left overnight it acted this way. I exchanged it for another one, same results. The water must be evaporating in the storage tank. Back it went for a full refund. This is nothing but an overpriced, over hyped machine. Save your money, buy a Braun or DeLonghi for less than half the price.
Pros: None Cons: Coffee too weak No Timer Too expensive Constantly heats the water
This coffee maker takes much more coffee to make a pot than my old Mr Coffee. I contacted Bunn with my concerns and they sent me a new discharge nozzle. It did very little. So I am spending about 50% more on my coffee because of the "fast brew". Thats crazy. The fact that it constantly heats the water is not very energy smart. I am going back to a coffee maker that is half the price.
Pros: Did make good coffee prior to breaking Cons: Cheap construction, and it would be nice, at $100, to have pause and serve.
6 months after purchase, the Bunn I bought developed a small crack in the black plastic base. Over a period of two-three weeks, this crack spread to the front all the way around the burner, and pieces of plastic fell off. This machine was never moved or dropped. It appears to be defective plastic.
