Pros: Ease of use, great health drinks that can be made with this Cons: None
In my search for products that can benefit my health with me being a health "nut"(and being a sucker for watching Late Nite TV Informercials:)) I decided to purchase the Juiceman Juicer, in this case the Juiceman Juicer II Elite Professional JM 410....
Pros: Metal mesh. Separate pulp box (Pulp ejects out.) Two speeds. Cons: Plastic parts. Pulp is not too dry.
UPDATE 9-14-03: It's been about a month into ownership and use. We still use the Juiceman about twice a week, for a family of 5. Here are a couple of observations: 1. There tends to be a leak between the mesh filter and the base. Upon a visual inspecti ...
Pros: Juices Just About Everything From Hard
Vegetables to Soft Citrus & Produce! Cons: Feed Tube Still Small But Larger Than Most.
I bought the Juiceman 2 Elite Professional JM410 to replace
an older Cuisinart juice extractor that was on its way out anyway. The spinning blade basket that sits on to motor shaft had started to break up and become loose on the shaft, causing the...
Pros: great value, effective Cons: can't be used in the shower?
I'm a serious juicer. No, I don't believe all the claims that Jay Kordich (the older man whom we've all seen pimping the product in infomercials) makes about the health benefits of juicing, but I recognize the wisdom of concentrating nutrients of raw...
Well, I did it again. I fell prey to the workings of the evil late night infomercials. First it was the Popiel Rotisserie, (which I still love by the way) and now it's the Juiceman Juicer.
Again, like with the rotisserie, I immediately had...
Pros: Easy to clean, juices all types of fruits and vegetables because of the 2-speed function Cons: Carrot juice stains it (but can be cleaned with vinegar and warm water)
A year ago I would have laughed if you told me I would be excited about juicing. It was too easy to grab a soda or bottled water, and fruits and veggies were not my favorite foods. All of that changed when I experienced some major health...
I've had my Juiceman II for six years now and I have nothing but good things to say about it.
First, the technical specs. The motor is a real powerhouse. It's rated at over 1hp, which makes it stronger than your garbage disposal. This means...
Pros: Relatively inexpensive pulp-ejecting centrifugal juicer. Broke before warranty expired. Cons: Poor fit and finish. Motor not made to last.
My first Juicer was a Christmas gift from my family -- it was a Juiceman Junior. This unit seemed adequate, but lacked power. I took it back and exchanged it for a Juiceman JM410, which boasted twice the power of its little brother.
Pros: EZ to use/clean Cons: Produce Expense increase
My wife and I decided to take the infomercial plunge and order the juiceman. We decided after reading some posts that if were going to get a juicer, might as well be a heavy-duty model. The Juiceman Elite fits the bill to a "T".
Pros: Better than no juice at all. Cons: Centrifugal juicer, juices loses most of its nutrients.
We bought our first juicer 6 months ago. I researched and researched trying to find the best one on the market. I had heard many good things about the Juiceman line of juicers, but more research uncovered a little known fact about the majority of...
I have owned the Juiceman Professional 410 for 20 months, and I use 1-2 times per week. It has worked well, because of the large motor, but the motor often races to a higher speed for a few seconds, while I am juicing. Recently, the motor just slowed...
Pros: none Cons: very fragile ( mechanically and electrically ).
The product is of questionable quality. Even with normal usage I found myself paying a lot for damages to the product.
Just above 13 months if sparing use of the product -
1. I accidentally knocked the steel juicer cup off my kitchen
...
Pros: fast, tasty, and inexpensive Cons: none really
Ive been a cooker for quiet some time. Ive worked with many appliances, juicers being one of them. I was disgusted with most of the juicers I came incounter with. then I met Juiceman Juicer II.
The Juiceman Juicer II Elite Professional is one...
Only Juiced for less than 2 Months by renee8771 ,Jun 10 '04
Pros: Makes great juice. Cons: Broke down w/in 6 weeks, somewhat irritating to clean up, mostly plastic parts, wet pulp.
We got ours as a wedding gift less than 2 months ago, and it suddenly quit as my husband was putting slices of limes in. I really wish we'd gotten the warranty. Now, I guess we'll try the Panasonic one.
We used our machine everyday... by jmwpharm_dt3000 ,Aug 30 '02
We used our machine everyday unti it stopped working after a few months. We had a replacement sent under the warranty. The replacement started spitting out copper wire from the back vents after a few more months. Now we are beyond the one year warranty and Salton won't replace it. Two machines burned out in less than 2 years, is that quality? Do yourself a favor and buy a good machine with a better warranty. Salton won't stand behind the quality of their product by only offering a one year warranty. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY A DIFFERENT JUICER.
