Pros: Great sound, slick package, battery life, nice menu system, nice screen, lots of features
Cons: Not enough memory, video playback is lacking, docking station worthless, MSRP too much

Well first of all, I want to say I received this free from a friend because they couldn't get it working with the computer for some reason. I don't blame them, I think loading songs, pictures and videos onto the thing is the worst part of this product! ...

Pros: TERRIFIC FLASH USER INTERFACE very intuitive and simple clic on screen interface
Cons: quality of the movies are great for 15fps but screen is too small

-the design of the both the hardware and the flash user interface are terrific
-it is very simple and intuitive to use because you clic directly on the sides of the screen (very clever alternative to a real touchscreen that avoid finger mark on the center of screen)
-sound quality and level is very good
-very good battery life
-mp3 recording available(but you must buy the cradle)
-movies quality (though only at 15fps) are very good because pitch of the screen is very good (only 320x240 pixel but screen is small) -a movie takes between 300 and 400mb at a good quality - there is a free and vey simple program to rip your dvd : iriverter (it has defaults compression settings for the u10)

Pros: Price, but I got it cheap unlike some other users here, functionality, ease of use.
Cons: Not enough memory. Only one format for movies.

I bought this little gadget because it was rated number 1 mp3 player, yes better than iPod. After over 4 hours of constant playing with it I'm really not surprised.

Txt, movie, music, fm, flash games, and pictures...all that for only $50 (eBay brand new)?! You can't go wrong with that. Sure iRiver could have some more memory, maybe a slot for a memory card, touchscreen, but for $50 I'm more than happy.
