Pros: Remote display, battery life, shock protection, MUCH MORE! Cons: Complex usage, weak volume output
WOW! That pretty much sums up the iRiver SilmX. I have been searching for a product like this for about a year now. Most I've looked at lacked a feature or two that was important to me. I'm not your regular "walkman" toter. I bought the iRiver for use on...

Pros: best of its generation Cons: bad customer service, expensive, bad earbuds, weak volume output, awkward auxilary battery
I purchased my slim-x player in January and was very impressed with the unit itself but was slightly concerned because I hadn’t heard of this company or any other of its products, after doing some research I found that they were the company behind many...

Pros: World's smallest MP3/CD player. Beautiful sound. Firmware upgrades. Cons: Remote display a little small. Earbuds that ship with unit are not the greatest.
I have tried numerous MP3/CD players and I have yet to find one as beautifully designed as the iMP-350. I bought mine months ago for $200 plus shipping, and still think it's a great buy. Now it is available everywhere for $150. Don't pass this up. Every...

Pros: compact size and good battery life Cons: a bit of a learning curve with controls, not entirely intuitive.
I've had my i-river Slim X for a few months now and really love it. I haven't had any problems at all and once I got used to operation of the unit it's been clear sailing.
I would recommend this player to anyone considering a CD based MP3...

Pros: Sound is excellent, battery life is great, the features will blow you away. Firmware! Cons: The remote.
First of all, I like to say that I am a music enthusiast. That being said, I love my new Iriver SlimX 350. I have so many mp3 disks and I wanted something to play what I already had burned and not have to mess with Flash players. I also have a Sony ...

Pros: thin, good sound, plays everything Cons: low volume, cheap remote, takes WAY too long to start playing, sometimes won't read discs
Okay, I have calmed down. Let me first say that I did tons of research to find this player. Let me save you the trouble--honestly--this player is infuriating. First of all, it takes almost 30 seconds to start playing, depending on the media. Then it...

This is an excellent player for any music lover. It plays both Mp3, CD's, CD-R's, and it even has a built in radio. It's hard to get this player to skip. You will never want to put this one away or get a new one. You more than likely will never have to...

Pros: Cheap, plays MP3, WMA, CD Cons: CHEAP, plays MP3, WMA, CD, FM, POORLY, wires everywhere
Geez, what great reviews on this product on Epinions. My experience has been slightly different. The bottom line (in my opinion) is this: if you're going to be moving around (exercising, painting, doing other chores) that involve motion, don't waste your ...

Pros: Elegant design, remote control keeps player out of sight Cons: Tinny sound, volume too low, eq controls unresponsive. Skips too much
I bought this as an upgrade from the 50 dollar range of portables, and because I wanted to play Mp3's. I was disappointed, maybe because I got a lemon. But I wanted to let everyone know that MY experience wasn't as good as some of the others on here....

Pros: Great sound quality, wonderful design, nearly flawless Cons: High price, but worth it
This product is a wonderful investment; it is everything an MP3/CD Player should be and more! Although this product is highly priced for a family with a low income, it is defiantly worth saving up for. If you are looking to buy a MP3/CD Player that will...
