Pros: Inexpensive, great value, smooth ride, compact, light weight Cons: inadequate sun protection, steal frame
We decided that wed like a jogging stroller for walks in the park, trips to the zoo, etc. A regular stroller just provides too rough a ride for anything other than street terrain. We also thought that maybe, just maybe, wed actually jog with one ...
Pros: Lightweight, sturdy and sleek design, works for infants, competitive price. Cons: Upgrades are available separately.
The InStep 5K Stroller is a nicely designed, lightweight aluminum jogging stroller in the same price range as the BabyTrends Expedition (jogger) and the Graco LiteRider (not a jogger). These are the three strollers in the $100 price range that are...
Do you like to take nice long walks with your baby or toddler? Are you still using the “regular” strollers? Do you notice that it doesn’t hold up well in dirt, grass, or not-so-nicely-paved streets/sidewalks? Well, what are you waiting for? It’s time ...
Pros: This one handles well in open spaces, and pushes very easily. Cons: takes some work to get in and out of doors and down aisles in stores.
First of all, I didn't buy this stroller for jogging, if I said that I'd be lying. I wanted a stroller that wouldn't get stuck on every pebble that I came across, wouldn't dribble baby's head as we walked down the sidewalk, and wouldn't tip over on...
Pros: Ease of use; quick release wheels (all three) Cons: Tires go flat
I was a nanny for a long time and test drove many many different strollers. I bought the Instep 5K for myself because I liked the large retractable canopy, 16 inch wheels, and large carry basket below. Now that I have it and have the extra accessories...
Pros: Very smooth ride, easy to push. Cons: Kind of bulky. No cup holders. No tray.
We bought this stroller intially to use it at our cabin where there are dirt roads and a traditional stroller would be harder to push. But we ended up loving this stroller and also use it for local walks to the park. I have a 10 month old, and he also...
Pros: Sturdy yet lightweight, rolls nice! Cons: Would love to have a snack/sippy cup tray at babies reach!
Although I am not a runner, I wanted a jogging stroller to help get around the local lake which has a dirt trail and thought this would be nice to go to the zoo with. My daughter(14 mo)sits nicely in this stroller, it appears to be more comfortable than...
Great for me, not so great for my daughter by mamaroach ,Sep 08 '04
Pros: Lightweight, ample storage Cons: Hard to turn, uncomfortable
When we first received this stroller, my daughter was small enough to be reclined, and slept through most of our walks. But recently - she's 17 months now - she's been putting up a fight even to get into it. The only thing I can come up with is that the straight-backed seat is uncomfortable to her, because I've started using an umbrella stroller instead, out of desperation because our walks had turned into screaming marathons. The new stroller has more give in the seat, and she is back to her old self again. I miss using the stroller myself (minus the screaming!), because the good things about it were really good for me: I didn't have to stoop to the handlebar, it is very lightweight and great for the rocky terrain we traverse on our walks, and there was plenty of storage for her toys and water, etc. It was good while it lasted, which was about 10 months.
3rd kid, 8th stroller- finally found a good one!!! by azedazobollis ,Sep 25 '03
Pros: Fast, cheap and durable. Cons: The harness straps.
I love it! It has lots of space for "stuff!" This jogger drives through snow 2ft deep with no problem!!!! The beach, easy!!! Zipper pockets on the sides of the canopy hold keys and cell phone, snacks, diaper.... There is a removable tray by the handles for sippy cup and my water. This stroller is simple, affordable and even great for running! It's light and easy to maneuver. Size?: I have a grand caravan, so I have the room for it. Otherwise, I would need to remove the front wheel to fit it in a compact trunk. But the front wheel comes off and goes on easily. Love it!!!!
I waited till my baby was 5 months old until she could use this. The harness straps are not suitable for a newborn.
