I love this stroller!

by murphydog77 , Jul 28 '01
Pros: lightweight, has a canopy, good support in seat and backrest, easy to maneuver
Cons: no basket, lever to collapse stroller hard to use if you are wearing bulky shoes
Our first stroller was part of a travel system and it was huge and hard to maneuver in stores, doctors' offices, etc. I'd finally had it when my son was 5 months old and I couldn't wait to put the big stroller in the closet to collect dust.

I...

Best umbrella stroller I've had

by TaraPA , Jan 21 '01
Pros: Lightweight, reclining
Cons: no basket
This is my 3rd purchased umbrella stroller & by far my favorite. I love the fabric, and the fact that it reclines. Most umbrella strollers do not recline at all so this was a major advantage to me. I used this for an infant as young as 8 weeks old in...

Excellent stroller for the sleepy babe!

by JewelyaM , Feb 22 '01
Pros: Recline feature, excellent support for baby, price
Cons: no basket

Pros Outweigh the Cons

by shopnsave2 , Feb 22 '01
Pros: Lightweight, more features than other umbrella stroller, more compact than the full size models
Cons: heavier than other umbrella strollers; no cupholder
We bought this stroller because unlike the full-sized stroller, this is compact enough to just leave in the back of our vehicle. Our daughter loves it because it gives her a better view of her surroundings than her full size stroller does. When she...

Pros: Extremely lightweight
Cons: Small wheels and not very durable
Certainly, you have purchased a product that once used, it greatly disappointed you. You may have found yourself saying, " wow, what a waste of money!!" During these times, I get angry at the company passing the item off to the consumer as...

Disappointed with quality

by my4cuties , Jul 08 '01
Pros: Lightweight, portable
Cons: Not durable, lasted less than a year
We purchased two Kolcraft reclining strollers for our twins less than a year ago. Although they are lightweight, we have found that parts have broken easily, including the mechanism which allows the stroller to fold, the clip that holds the stroller...

If I knew then what I know now

by 1sttimemom , Mar 15 '01
Pros: lightweight, assembly, back support
Cons: folding, no basket, wheels too small
My baby can already hold his head up and we have a stroller frame where you can attach the car seat to so I thought it is time to purchase a lightweight stroller. We got spoiled with the weight of the stroller frame so we did not even consider getting a...

Bad Wheels!

by zeke11 , Jan 03 '00
Pros: none
Cons: rough, loud ride
I thought I had done some thorough researching when I purchased this stroller for my son, but learned that the ONLY way to determine a good stroller is by taking it for a road test. I was impressed by the attractive pattern of the cloth cover and the...

I was very disappointed with this stroller.

by utcarsons , Oct 03 '00
Pros: hmmm?
Cons: many!
This was a disappointing purchase. It is heavy! Yes! Heavy. It comes with no basket to carry anything (and we all know moms have lots to carry). The sunshade is too high to provide any real sun protection. It tips easily (so you can't put a bag on...

Recommended Stroller for Two Stroller-Age Kids
by jen_nay6 ,Feb 01 '06
Pros: lightweight, easy maneuverability, folds compactly, can steer one-handed, great stroller
Cons: limited storage
This is definitely worth the $$. I had a tandem, but wasn't happy with the bulkiness and the weight of it and went out on a limb and bought this stroller. I wanted one that would fit through doors easily (as this one does) had enough room for my 2 year old and my 10 month old and just enough room for cups and small snacks. There are two small 'bags' on the backs of the seats where we store their cups and snacks as well as a couple extra diapers. As for extra clothes and more than a couple diapers each, there are bags that you can buy that attach directly to the stroller. I have had no problems with this stroller and intend to use it for as very long as I possibly can. My kids love it, I love it, my husband loves it. I couldn't have asked for a better side by side stroller! Major kudos to Kolcraft!

Awesome Kolcraft stroller
by maroula ,Feb 03 '05
Pros: Lightweight and easy to use.
Cons: I feel that it is not made for larger children.
I purchased this stroller for my 9 month old daughter. My husband and I wanted a light weight stroller because we were going to the Bahamas for a vacation. Well- this stroller has been to the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic and I am now using for my second child who is two. I love this stroller. It replaced my $300 Perego stroller. It is worth every penny. The only thing that I feel I should point out is that my daughters are light weight and somewhat petite.

Good for quick outings, but not the best for regular use
by emilypeanut ,Mar 02 '04
Pros: Easy to fold, lightweight and reclines enough for toddlers to nap
Cons: virtually no storage, tips easily
Generally good for a secondary stroller, for a quick walk through the store or something fast, but if you want a stroller good for long outings or shopping trips its best to look elsewhere. The storage included consists of two small mesh bags hanging off the back of each seat, so if you put even a heavy purse inside the stroller is in danger of tipping backwards. Folds up nicely, and is lightweight though, so if you just want a simple umbrella stroller without perks this is a reasonable buy for a good price.

Decent stroller for the price
by diana_mayer ,Nov 30 '03
Pros: price, size
Cons: not as maneuverable as my other double, heavy
I bought this stroller for my 8-month-old and 2-year-old. I needed a stroller to keep in the back of the car. (I have a Mountain Buggy Urban Double as my main stroller, but it's worth too much $$$ to leave it sitting in the back of the car!) The Kolcraft doesn't steer as well as my Mountain Buggy, and at the mall I found myself wishing I had just brought the bigger stroller. The Kolcraft is also pretty heavy for an umbrella stroller. But it's a good stroller for quick errands or traveling.
