Pros: cute characters, old and new, my daughter loves something I grew up on Cons: does promote mild materialism, but better than violence
When we finally arrived in the 20th century and bought a direct tv I was so happy to see that we were going to get Toon Disney. I just love Disney and so does my daughter. Most of the cartoons do not really promote violence like so many new cartoons out...
Pros: Clever series, endearing characters, teaches responsibility Cons: Later episodes not as good as the first batch
This is the one show I will actually fight the kids for the remote control over. They usually ask for Dragon Tales, but I insist on DuckTales. I loved this show when I was a kid and still do.
I remember i ran home everyday after school to catch my daily dose of DuckTales. The adventures of Uncle Scrooge, Webigail, Launchpad, Mrs. Beakley, Dogsworth(i forget his name hehe, the butler!), Gizmo Duck, Huey, Dewie, and Louie!
DuckTales Whoo Ooh!!!!!! I was ecstatic when I found out that the show DuckTales would be on tv again on the Disney Channel. This was one of my absolute favorite child shows.
How could anyone not love Uncle Scrooge, Mrs. Beakley, Tabitha the...
Pros: Bares strong enough storylines and characterizations so that it has more in common with live-action shows (despite the fact that the characters are animals) than with such mindless rare as say, "Catdog." Cons: It will not TEACH your child anything (like numbers or counting), but neither do a lot of other children's shows
I remember watching it one day when I was in first grade and I had nothing better to do. I think the particular episode I saw had something to do with them going on a camping trip, though I may be wrong. Whatever it was about, though, it sure hooked me....
Pros: fun, entertaining, full of humor Cons: none!
When I was younger, I loved to watch DuckTales! Everything from the addictive theme song, to the character's personalities. It teaches you good morals, while including a great factor that's missing from a lot of kid's shows: entertainment.
Pros: high adventure Cons: the ducks are sometimes hard to understand
Donald Duck has been a part of American culture for decades, and his nephews have been in the limelight for nearly as long. They run poor Donald to a frazzle, though he often deserves it. "Ducktales" affords Donald some long awaited R and R as...
Pros: Pleasant and clean. Cons: Would be nice if put more caring and helping others into the stories.
I do like the Ducktails and my kids really like it. I do wish they were on at another time instead of so early because my children do like to sleep. Sometimes I will get up and watch even without the kids.
Pros: fun adventure for kids Cons: doesn't hold interest of smaller children
My 6 year old has fallen head-over-heels in love with Duck Tales. He watches it several times a day and the same episode over and over. They continue the program and he loves following the adventures of Uncle Scrooge and the nephews. He has gotten so...
Pros: cute little duck boys, keeps childrens attention Cons: May teach children how to be greedy with money
For once a show that actually fully holds my child's attention. Scrooge McDuck, is a mean, stingy, greedy, old millionaire duck. Scrooge hoards all of his money, in a money bin. Which is a very large safe. He has 3 nephews living with him. Huey, Duey...
Pros: Very funny to watch Cons: Only on the Disney Channel now!
DuckTales has been on since I was a kid. I love this show, it never gets old. I put it on the other day and found out that my two year old loves it also! I think that you can make new cartoons everyday but they are never going to take over the old ones....
Pros: Excellent story Cons: The woman in the red panties.
My 7 year old grandson loves to watch 'Duck Tails'. Many times I watch it with him and find the program entertaining even for me. It brings back fond memories of my childhood when I would sit through a movie just to watch the Disney cartoons at the...
Duck Tales is a childrens television show that has been around for a while now. When I was little, I used to watch it and I loved it. I think it is great for little children's minds and is entertaining for them too. Each show has it's own moral and good...
Pros: original adventures, great characters, funny Cons: none
Life is full of routines. You wake up, you shower, brush your teeth, grab some breakfast..you get the idea. After school, part of my routine was to come home and watch 'Ducktales'. I liked 'Ducktales' so much, that as I grew older, I watched it when I...
Pros: characters with whom we identify Cons: "bad" guys (but they always lose)
Not only did this television show have one of the catchiest theme songs in the business, but it was one of mine and my brother's favorites. Heuy, Dewy and Lewy were troublemakers of my time, and I identified with them much more than with Webby, although...
