Pros: Teaches reasoning and advanced thought -- and it doesn't even hurt! Cons: It's on Nickelodeon, which means commercials.

Pros: Fantastic watch-n-learn, lovable characters, great writing and production, gets the gears turning in your kid's head! Cons: Heavily commercialized show (think Pokemon) makes your kids go nuts in toy stores wherever they sell Blues Clues stuff... that just bugs me...
