Pros: Lots of value for the price, great picture, lots of video adjustments. Cons: Really can't think of any.
Summary: That I'm about to write a favorable opinion on the LG 55LW5600 is quite remarkable in light of my bias for plasma TVs. I've associated LCD/LED TVs with high contrast and overly-saturated imagery which was OK for sporting events, but ruins most anything ... read more

Pros: Vivid Picture, Nice Price, 3D, Internet Cons: Older Medium at times looks pixilated on such a huge screen
Summary: Other forums offer tons of techie type details. I consulted these but what I really wanted was some basic info for a guy going from a 32” tube tv to a 55” LCD tv. I had NO IDEA what to expect. I will gear my review from this ... read more

Pros: Passive 3D, best value at price point, Smart TV, Very thin, Saves electricity. Cons: TruMotion is on by default and it makes background look fake. Speakers are weak.
Summary: I did quite a bit of comparing TVs before purchasing this one. At first I questioned my purchase because the details of the background made everything look fake - like you were on a set where everything is staged. At first I questioned if I ... read more

Pros: Great Picture. Passive 3D, no batteries. Great price. Light, easy to mount. Cons: Most apps are cheap. Could use a keyboard remote.
Summary: After scouring the Internet for about a week, reading product reviews and specs I came across two TVs in my budget that had all the options I desired. LG Infinia 55lw6500 and LG Infinia 55lw5600. The difference between the two is that the 6500 is 240Hz ... read more

Pros: Polarized Glasses Wider Viewing Angle Magic Motion Remote Full Web Browser Free Apps Cons: On screen keyboard can be hard to use.
Summary: This TV is very easy to use and has many features that, in my mind, put it a step above the competition. LG is currently one of the only brands using the polarized glasses as opposed to the active shutter glasses. Polarized glasses do not use ... read more
