Pros: Small hotel of great distinction. Quiet, personal service, good dining room Cons: Small, rooms are comfortable, if not luxurious, small bathrooms
Summary: My stay at San Francisco's Huntington was a very brief one. I only wish I had been able to stay longer! When I return to San Francisco, this will likely be one of my top choices of places to stay in the city.

Pros: History, style and service on its side, enhanced by searching for the best rates. Cons: Probably a bit too restrained and old worlde and the business center is basically non-existent.

Pros: Top location: steps from Union Square and cable cars. Lovely, old-fashioned hotel. Cons: Pricey....but worth it. Look for specials.
