Pros: Small hotel of great distinction. Quiet, personal service, good dining room
Cons: Small, rooms are comfortable, if not luxurious, small bathrooms
Summary: My stay at San Francisco's Huntington was a very brief one. I only wish I had been able to stay longer! When I return to San Francisco, this will likely be one of my top choices of places to stay in the city.

Pros: History, style and service on its side, enhanced by searching for the best rates.
Cons: Probably a bit too restrained and old worlde and the business center is basically non-existent.
Summary: The Huntington is well described in many places including other Epinion's reviews. Our experience was that it represented exceptional value for money at the time we wanted to spend 4 nights in San Francisco. We would have preferred a Sheraton or Interco ... read more

Pros: Top location: steps from Union Square and cable cars. Lovely, old-fashioned hotel.
Cons: Pricey....but worth it. Look for specials.
Summary: The Huntington sits atop Nob Hill, the most expensive address in San Francisco. The Huntington's neighbors are the Fairmont, the Ritz-Carlton, etc. What we loved about the Huntington was how quiet, efficient and classy the whole operation was. We were ... read more
