Pros: Beautiful and elegant, great location, excellent service Cons: Might not fit into everyone's budget
Yes, I know. Pretty corny. But how often do you get to say it and really mean it?
I was fortunate enough to stay at the Ritz-Carlton in San Francisco on business while covering a conference being held at the hotel. Normally, my company...
Pros: Decor, feather bed and linens, bath products and amazing food. Cons: Location, price, rooms decor, no view, tiny gym/spa, awkward valet area.
I just stayed this past weekend (Oct 22-24) at the Ritz Carlton San Francisco. I would like to give a quick review for anyone needing current info. As many of us know there is a major strike/lockout going on at the hotels in SF. I wanted to stay at ...
Pros: Concierge, Service and Club Lounge Cons: On top of a steep hill
We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton in a Club Suite (Room 915) from 8/26/2005 to 8/30/2005 to attend a wedding. From the moment we arrived at SFO (1:16AM) to the time we left, we were treated like royalty. I was actually contacted before my arrival via e-mail ...
Pros: delightful little treats, surprisingly filling, staff make you feel special Cons: can't afford to do this every week!
The Ritz Carlton knows how to make you feel special on a day of celebration. People of all ages were in the tea room enjoying an afternoon with friends or family, most for a special occasion. I was there with my father and some friends, celebrating my...
Pros: Simple. Elegant. Beautiful. Cons: You'll probably have to leave at some point.
The Ritz Carlton San Francisco embodies a distinctly American flavor of true class. While a typical European luxury hotel might be built inside a former royal palace, the RCSF's uniquely American brand of luxury springs from the renovation of a 1909...
Pros: Everything you expect and demand from a high-end hotel Cons: Location, you have to march up a small hill from Union Square or Chinatown
(Background: I live in San Francisco and arrange hotel rooms for business and family visitors on a frequent basis. I personally check in at the counter and deal face-to-face with the hotel staff. I personally check each room and inquire about the...
Pros: Beautiful lobby, excellent service Cons: Cold showers, needed a remodel
I was very excited to be staying at the Ritz last weekend but unfortunately I have to say I was disappointed. It's not really a convenient location on top of Nob Hill but I knew that ahead of time and thought the Ritz would be worth it. I was wrong. ...
Pros: Incredibly elegant, excellent health facilities, rooms are spacious, worth every penny Cons: Location could be a bit better
The minute that I pulled up to this hotel, I was awaited by the bell man in their proper blue jackets, welcoming us to one of the greatest cities in the country, San Francisco. This was my first time here, and I knew that staying at the Ritz would...
Pros: decor, service, location Cons: I can't afford to live there full time
I stayed here over a year ago before the extensive renovations and found it to be a tiny bit shabby. On my return the week before Christmas of this year I was in heaven. The place glittered from head to toe. New carpets, luxury fabrics on the walls,...
This is a really great hotel and a hotel of nothing but splendid luxury. It is truly a hotel that is fit for well a king. They have a beautiful excellent indoor swimming pool where the water is just perfect, not too hot and not too cold either. They ...
Pros: Amazing Amazing Service Cons: room decor a little boring
I stayed at the Ritz Carlton with my boyfriend over the weekend before Valentines day. The second I walked into the hotel I felt relaxed. While walking to check in we were greeted and offered a glass of Champagne. Check in was very quick and easy. ...
Pros: Gorgeous Hotel! Excellent staff! Cons: Very pricey, but worth it if you find the deals! Typical roomservice food
Worth the money (see the swimming pool in the basement!) and you can even find great deals that include parking and breakfast! Gorgeous Hotel! Excellent staff!
Pros: Classy, Luxurious, Pampered Elegance. Cons: Not really.
Excellent hotel. Classic White pillars, old style glamour. We were greeted by the Valet--white gloves and top hat, class all the way. We stayed over Thanksgiving, the Christmas tree in the lobby was beautiful. The room was very nice, excellent bed comforter. Could use a dual shower head, but very nice all around. Room service was good-chocolate cake was delicious. Concierge recommendations were excellent.
