Pros: Great staff and service. Great Location
Cons: None
My parents decided to stay here on their visit to Sonoma County and we stayed with them for one night. We did not know anything about this hotel other than it was old, built in 1907!
It's on the list of Historic Hotels of America. Built in 1907 and most recently remodeled in 1985. For architect buffs the stone exterior is a work of art. The wall papered and antique furniture made this place very cute. The bed was amazing, like a giant pillow. Had a great night's sleep. The location, at railroad square, is right next to some shops and the mall. Best of all you're in the heart of Sonoma County. They have coupons for some wineries too!
We were blown away by the service. They treated us like kings, within minutes of arrival we had wine, a plate of fruit, ice, and warm milk for the baby delivered to our room. We didn't ask for any of it. The rest of the stay was as warm too. Felt like we were at home.
Breakfast was included. Bagels, fresh hot blueberry scones, lox, meats and cheeses, hard boiled eggs, fruit, coffee and tea. Just excellent.
