They don't know how to say "I'm sorry"...

Pros: Checked out early without penalty. Cons: Too big for their own good.
My HYATT Dearborn, Michigan email confirmation letter said that wired and wireless Internet service was provided in my room. It didn't say anything about it being an extra $9.95 charge per day. I asked about this at the front desk. They said they had no control over what their web site or email confirmation letters say or don't say, because that work is outsourced. What? I thought they should in fact responsible, and talked to two different people at the front desk about this, and they both just stared at me like I was from another planet. Neither one said "I'm sorry" or "We are sorry" about my dissatisfaction. I also wrote the manager (as requested on the check-out receipt) and gave him two weeks to reply before writing this. No response. Some of the people at HYATT Dearborn, MI basically don't care if a few customers are not satisfied. I guess they think they're so big that they can't possibly satisfy everyone - so they don't try harder. There were some good points about the hotel, and other people that were very professional, however, I don't think I will go back because of my front desk experience there.

worst House keeping & room service

Pros: Italian Giulio & sons Restaurant served good food and a very good service . Cons: House keeping & Room Service was really bad
I stayed in the Hotel from the 22 till the 27 of Aug. 2007, when I first entered the Hotel it looked like a 5 Star Hotel , BUT I had the worst experience when it came to house keeping and room service. The room carpet was dirty with lots of food crumbs from day 1!!, the house keeper only fixed my bed once when I left her a note asking her to so with a tip, she will only take the trash out and supply fresh towels. when I ordered dinner ( sea food some times) and called room service for the tray to be picked up, it stayed till next day evening by my door!! and I was not the only one, I have seen the trays by other rooms too . I did complain this is when they cleaned my room and picked the tray ... last day of my stay.
