Best stay at Renaissance St. Louis Hotel
by amina50 ,Dec 29 '06
Pros: The bed, the toiletries, the spacious well appointed room and view. Cons: Service in the restaurant was slow.
For our Christmas present I booked two nights at the hotel, and those were the best two nights of luxury we experienced in a long time. The Executive Suite was spacious and well appointed with a wet bar, desk work space and beautiful furnishings. The view of western St. Louis and St. Louis airport was amazing. Though we were close to the airport, no noise disturbed our peaceful sleep. My fiance even commented on the toiletries, and we both enjoyed the soap, shampoo, etc. The bed was heaven, with down mattress and comforter, we felt like we were sleeping on a cloud. Dinner in the restaurant was also excellent, although service was slow. It was the perfect place to stay after two hectic days of gift giving and holiday with family in the area.
