Pros: Panoramic view, prime location, nicer than other Hiltons Cons: Exorbitant room service prices, icky restaurant staff
I was born and raised in New York City, but I was fifteen years old the first time I saw Times Square in person. I ditched school and set out to see the real New York-- the city my mother considered too dangerous and dirty for my eyes. I stepped ...
Pros: High speed Internet connections, excellent security, beautiful rooms, exceptional views Cons: Fewer on-site amenities than at many hotels
At the spur of the moment, we're talking mere hours from check-in, my schedule cleared and the spouse and I decided to go into New York City to watch Macy's Thanksgiving day parade balloons being inflated.
Pros: Free breakfast for Hilton Honors, central location, fast elevators, reasonable cost with advance booking. Cons: Bathrooms clean but not as modern as they could be.
The Times Square Hilton gives you an oasis right in the middle of the busiest city in the world! I’ve now visited this hotel on two separate occasions, spending a full week of nights, and consider it a hidden gem.. The rooms are billed ...
Pros: Location-Midtown Manhattan/Theatres & Times Square Gorgeous, Large Rooms, Beautiful Views Cons: Fewer Ameneties, Smaller Hotel. But none that I missed.
Planning and Reservations:
We planned this vacation months in advance, eight days in New York City, late December 2002, absolutely *must* stay midtown, the only destination for a whirlwind True New York Week. We booked online, at the Hilton...
Pros: Excellent rooms, fantastic location, pleasant staff. Cons: Room not available until 16:00.
This hotel does not have a grand street entrance like a number of top end New York hotels - the clock and the giant Madame Tussaudes wax museum sign are the main pointers to the entrance. The hotel lobby is on the 21st floor and is a haven of ...
I stayed at the Times Square Hilton during Memorial Day weekend. To my surprise, I was able to get a room at the amazingly low price of $179. Definitely a bargain for where this hotel is located - right in the heart of Times Square.
Pros: location location location, spacious rooms Cons: no shuttle to hotel, pricey
No doubt the Hilton Time Square has an exceptional location. But I expect more. They don't provide a shuttle from the airports to the hotel, which seemed like a no brainer when it comes to customer service. I was turned off by this. There was a ...
Pros: Very good location, high above Times Square, large rooms Cons: Breakfast service sluggish, must take elevator to lobby
I usually stay at the New York Hilton for the points and Towers Room but was more than satisfied at the newer, boutique style Times Square edition. The lobby is so quiet and calming from the fray below that the contrast is a pleasure. The rooms are...
Pros: *Location location location
*Very clean
*Friendly and Helpful staff
*Fabulous Views
Perfect central spot Cons: *No drink machines
*Pricey, but understandably so
*Not much to do in hotel itself
Stayed at the Hilton Times Square one weekend in January.
From the doorman, to the bellhop, to the front desk, to the room service and even the laundry valet..... the service was great! This was a great place to start every day from because you are...
Pros: Excellent location
Excellent beds, staff, rooms, toiletries Cons: Expensive and you have to pay for Internet in your room
Excellent staff, service, hotel lobby and bar where awesome !! The bed and the sheets where so wonderful that we are ordering them from their website. The rooms where extremely noise proof and we never heard anything from other rooms or in the halls. The darkness of the curtains, and comfort of the amazing bed, the Crab tree and Evelyn toiletries. you forget about all the hustle and bustle just feet below !!!!!!!! Great location next to many subway stops !!! Walking distance to all the great restaurants and tourist spots of Times Square. Friendly staff that has excellent patience to give you directions and advice of how to get around and what to do in the busy city. Hotel is extremely safe and secure. A great place to stay !!!
If you get an non-remodeled room it will suck by tfurth ,Aug 28 '04
Pros: The lobby is beautiful and the upper floors are nice Cons: The doors were paper thin, yelling down the hallway. The staff was unpleasant
The doors were paper thin and we could hear children yelling down the hallway. The staff was unpleasant when I requested a different room. It smelled of smoke although I requested a non- smoking room. The wall paper was peeling, the bathroom was moldy. It seemed to have had furniture that was from the 70s. I will never go back there. The lobby is beautiful and the upper floors are nice, but don't be deceived.
