awesome staff, great food and clean rooms
by cindyl ,Nov 28 '03
Pros: beautiful village, excellent staff, resort amenities, golf course and huge health and fitness center Cons: can't smoke inside and no pets
we stay at the inn in the winter and summer and are continuously amazed by the alert and pleasant staff. the staff are warm friendly and greet us with smiles. the village is the best in vermont with shops, galleries, the best book stores and excellent choice of restaurants. the food at the inn in consistently very, very good, even at the ski lodge of suicide six (the ski area owned by the inn) where you can eat in the lounge and watch the skiiers on the front hill.
the guest rooms and public space are always very clean. our favorite is the ten foot fireplace ion the large but cozy main lobby. the resort is owned by laurance rockefeller and is impeccibly kept. great food, great staff and an inn you'll want to return to year after year.
