Pros: Very convenient location, great big city hotel. Cons: None
The Grand Hyatt, Washington DC is a very significant hotel in a great location for those that chose to stay in the city. The location at 1000 H Street NW is so convenient, that there is absolutely no reason to even consider renting or having a car in the...
Pros: Friendly staff (mostly), prompt service (mostly), clean room. Cons: Surrounded by building sites, nasty health club, dubious value at rack rate.
Another day, another Priceline special. This time I was meeting up with a friend from England who was over on business and wanting to see DC. She's a posh type of bird, so I thought something with the label Grand would fit the bill. Plus, while she is ...
Pros: Excellent location; accommodating staff; nice decor. Cons: Everything is far too expensive; not a family hotel.
I've just returned from a 3-night stay at the Grand Hyatt Washington in downtown D.C.--and I'm still trying to decide whether I would rather have stayed somewhere else!
I chose this hotel for its location, and for the price: I managed...
Pros: Location, lobby area, very clean. Cons: Price, bed comfort, dining.
I absolutely love Washington, DC. It's got a great atmosphere, good food, largely free entertainment, and countless sites. So in what seems to be an annual affair, I went down to Washington to just relax for a few days. This time, I decided to stay ...
Pros: Easy access to everything. Cons: A bit pricey.

Pros: Big spacious rooms
Nice toilet paper Cons: Don't go if you have a bad back! Don't expect much!
First thing we noticed was the size of the bedroom and bathroom, which are spacious. Toilet paper and facial tissue used is Angel Soft, so it's all thick and comfy. Everything went downhill from there... 1. If you have a bad back, this hotel ...
Pros: location, quiet, friendly staff Cons: holiday weekend all restaurants in hotel closed
My husband and I stayed Thanksgiving weekend at the Grand Hyatt and were very pleased. The prices were down to $99 a night and we had a free voucher for one night so we ended up only paying $99 for a two night stay. The room was bigger than average...
Pros: location, interior design, very clean and neat rooms, good staff Cons: rooms are not luxury, Hotel Parking COSTS, on site eating IS EXSPENSIVE
I now know that the other six reviews are pretty right on. The rooms were very clean and neat. The staff was helpful, courteous and the housekeeping staff was very helpful with a smile. The Hotel has a GREAT location for business or tourists. I ...
Fantastic location, lovely room, great rate by lucy70 ,Nov 07 '03
Pros: Fantastic location with metro access, tasteful clean rooms, great rates to be had Cons: Expensive restaurants on site
We stayed at the Grand Hyatt over Easter weekend for $99 a night through the Hyatt website, and compared to similar hotels in the area this was a bargain. Our room was on the Gold Passport floor and was a decent size for a city center hotel. It was also nicely decorated. Room service and the on-site hotels seemed quite expensive so we opted to eat out. The only exception was the Zephyr deli which was better value for breakfasts. The metro is accessed through the lobby and this is a really quick, clean and efficient way of getting around. It is also easy to walk to many of the local attractions from this hotel. If I could get this rate again I'd return......
