Pros: Absolutely amazing service, great old (1923, 1943) buildings on the sea front
Cons: Not many. If you do not like older hotels, this may not be your place

Pros: Very modest price for the area
Cons: it ends soon..
Summary: For $89 two people receive accomodations for 2 nights and 2 breakfast specials each morning. Plus dinner for 2 for one night. Saturdays and holidays are not included. The promotion ends 6/8/00....They will probably offer another, at that time. I will run ... read more

Pros: Black Jack, inexpensive room, food and drinks
Cons: location, no player club cards, poor machine selection
Summary: Triple A has 2 night packages at $99-$129. They include breakfast and dinner, for 1 or 2 guest. That is the lowest price of the five South Shore casinos. The San Francisco newspapers (Sunday edition) often feature seasonal specials.Many locals do enjoy ... read more

Pros: restaurant, blackjack betting rules, friendly service
Cons: smallish casino
Summary: I am a frequent traveler to the Tahoe area for skiing, a little gambling, and just unwinding. The Lakeside was recommended by one of my favorite hotel proprietors as one of lesser known "local" hangouts.
