This hotel was truly our "home away from home" during the week we spent in Quito! The best part were the staff, who truly went out of their way to take care of and pamper us! They were warm, friendly, responsive---we actually made some friends among them! We never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes for anything we requested, from room service to a cot for our son. The breakfast staff saw my husband take a Miami Herald from the rack the first day, and every day thereafter there was one waiting at our door when we woke up!
The location was great, in a safe neighborhood a few blocks from the major shopping and restaurant area of the New City. There was always a cab waiting, and there was a cab supervisor on duty 24 hours, who often took us in his car. The rooms were big and clean, and breakfasts were wonderful--tropical fruit and juices, omelettes made to order.
