Pros: reasonable price, nice private beach
Cons: bus ride to downtown area
Summary: In October 2000 I visited Puerto Vallarta. We chose to stay at the CasaMagna because Marriott hotels tend to be reasonably priced with relatively consistent good service.
The hotel is only a short cab ride from the Puerto Vallarta airport....

Pros: Very well appointed, great staff, great atmosphere
Cons: More $ than other local hotels.
Summary: Ok One night is not really enough to usually write a review of any good place. Usually you need a few nights to see how the staff will react. See how well they manage the room and keep it clean. But with the Shangri-la I’ll make the rare exception. I
