Pros: This resort provides an absolutely breathtaking view. The food was always plentiful, hot and appetizing. Cons: The rooms were quite brisk at night.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Los Angeles Locos', Blue Bay Club. The staff is very friendly and the majority is fluent in english - very uncommon to many other resorts. Our rooms was well-maintained and we were greeted with new floral arrangements...

Blue Bay Los Angeles Locos and Punta Serena
by mn_rose ,May 05 '05
Pros: Paradise! Lots of activities. Good for families. Private. Cons: Can get crowded.
First of all, Blue Bay and Punta Serena are 2 different resorts, but they are located side-by-side on Tenacatita Bay, about 2 1/2 hours south of Puerto Vallarta. Punta Serena is an adults-only clothing-optional resort with 27 rooms. Blue Bay is a family resort of 400+ rooms (Punta Serena guests have access to all Blue Bay facilities). Both of them have beautiful beaches and lots of Palm Trees. The Blue Bay pool is great, with a Palapa Island and a swim-up bar. Both resorts are all-inclusive, including food and drinks. We stayed at Punta Serena, so I can't comment about the food at Blue Bay, but the ocean-side rooms are beautiful with private balconies. The beach is safe and there are a number of activities planned every day. Overall, I think it's a great family resort in paradise.
