Pros: A colorful, Christ-centered magazine that will appeal to girls with a wide variety of interests.
Cons: Only that the companion magazine for boys isn't quite as good.

Summary: For the past several years, my in-laws have given both my kids subscriptions to the Focus on the Family kids magazines as part of their Christmas presents. A couple of years ago, my daughter graduated from Clubhouse which is aimed at kids ... read more

Pros: Insipring stories, encourages Bible reading, some fun articles and quizzes.
Cons: Often narrow minded and/or unrealistic, repetitious atricles, limited audience -- not everyone can relate.

Summary: This is from the perspective of an 18 year old a Christian girl.  But I'm a Christian who isn't afraid to question things and use her brain.  Here's my Brio experience.I started receiving brio at age twelve.  At first I loved ... read more

Cons: If you are not a Christian you may not like it.

Summary: I try to be careful about the reading material I bring into my home for my 13-year-old daughter. One of the magazines I have given her a subscription to is Brio. She first found out about this magazine at a friends house and asked me ... read more

    Pros: realistic, humorous, and practical
Cons: illustrations, I don't like whoever does their cartoons

Pros: All in all great magazine.
Cons: Slightly expensive, people may find it challenging.

Summary: Brio is an excellent magazine for teens 12-17/18! It provides a Christian perspective while also giving the view of an average teenage girl. The other reviews said non-christians might not like it-I don't think that's true. Not just Christians can read
