I was a little reluctant to order a magazine that I had never seen in person. However, I have not been the least bit disappointed. The content is very good, with features that are interesting and projects that are well explained. The patterns look easy to follow and those that I've scanned have come out clear.
From the list of monthly departments, the one I appreciate most is the Kit Reviews. I like the fact that they rate the kits Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced, give a suggested retail price and an approximate assembly time for each kit.
Each issue includes a couple of heavier cut-out pages with no print on the back, which I leave in the magazine because I don't want to deface it. A scanner and some card stock will resolve that problem! An example from the latest issue is a page of Nursery Accents and a page with Victorian postcards and birthday party accessories.
