Pros: Similar in style to ESPN's main programs; interesting photographs; to-the-point articles Cons: Dimensions of the magazine are larger than those of normal-sized magazines.
As a sports fan, I get my fix by reading the sports section of the newspaper before moving to the biased sections between the front page and the classifieds. Sometimes I listen to sports talk radio. During my web surfing I have to get my sports updates...

Pros: Good magazine, cheap price Cons: Customer service is relentless and will drive you insane
Okay ESPN the Magazine is all right. I used to be a subscriber. I guess that makes it look like this is a bad review. Well it's not. Then again, it's not a good review either. Let's examine ESPN's attempt at swaying the public away from Sports...

Pros: pictures Cons: advertisements, advertisements, advertisements, poor writing, and sometimes very little class(Ricky Williams)
I hate to say this but ESPN could do a lot better than this. I believe that they are #1, when it comes to up to the minute sports new and highlights. But it is really to bad that the magazine is nothing compared to the network it is named after. I...

Pros: Some good articles, Cheaper than other magazines.... Cons: Too big, too many advertisements!!
I recently requested a free issue of ESPN: The Magazine, hoping they would send me the Major League Baseball preview edition. I personally love these issues because with all the free agency going on in sports nowadays, it's hard to stay with the sport....

Pros: It's Sports Cons: It's a fake remake of Sports Illustrated
This magazine takes on the form of Sports Illustrated. Now, that sounds
wonderful, right? Of course it does, but it isn't good. They have the
same things, with the numbers at the bottom meaning certain things. Then
they have the TV...

Pros: new perspective, large colorful pictures Cons: not a weekly publication
ESPN the magazine is for a younger generation of sports fans. ESPN has large color pictures, indepth articles about young and upcoming stars and alot of "smack" and insight as to what really goes on in sports today. I really enjoy the...

Pros: everything if you are a sports nut Cons: nothing
ESPN is like Sports Illustrated except that it is a good magazine. It really is sports center in magazine form. It has all the wit, sarcasm and cool facts of the tv program. I especially like Dan Patrick's Questions at the end of each issue. ESPN has...

Pros: Great articles, superbly done outline, great quality of pictures Cons: Just another sports magazine
I'm sure that the following fact is true for the majority of men in the United States: SportsCenter is one of the highlights of their day. I know that this is true for me, as the highly rated sports reporting show on ESPN airs at about 8...

Pros: snazzy, entertaining, and interesting Cons: confusing
ESPN The Magazine
I bought a subscription to ESPN because it looked cool. It turned out to be a good investment of my twenty dollars.
Most issues are great, but every so often they have a dud issue that doesn't interest me...

Pros: Photography, very witty, great perspective on issues... Cons: Baseball articles put me to sleep.
With superb photography, witty journalism, and eye-candy-esque graphical layout, ESPN Magazine is one of the best overall magazines that I have ever bought from the newsstands.
Generally, ESPN Magazine comes out biweekly and focuses mostly on...

Pros: Big, bright, many scoops from some of the industries most knowledgeable insiders. Cons: Way too busy. Much outdated info, too much pointless jibberish.
First of all, let me say that I love ESPN. I watch as much as I can, and I love their all around sports coverage. They take much of their resources, and pour them into this magazine that comes every two weeks (ugh!). You get a much more personal view of...
