Pros: Easy and fun reading Cons: Not enough detail in some stories.
The Readers Digest is a fun little magazine to read. I really like the size of the magazine. It is just the right size to curl up in bed and read. The reading is easy. The stories are short and interesting. You can finish up with one quickly and go on to...

Pros: Each month the magazine has articles on several different helpful topics. Cons: Too many ads
Readers Digest is a long-time favorite with our family. It always has interesting real life stories and also seems to have at least one article a month with information that I can use. For example, there may be one on banking or how to save money on...

Pros: Quick, short stories, varied content Cons: I know of none
My father always read Readers Digest while I was growing up. As I got older, I would pick up his copy and read the monthly features such as "Campus Comedy" and "Life In The United States" These everyday antics of every day people...

Pros: Provides helpful information Cons: Too many ads
To tell the truth, I don't like most of Reader's Digest. I just like the assortment of jokes on every page, the Word Power, the Dramas In Real Life, and the medical section. Only once in a while will I read anything other than those.
The...

Pros: pocket sized, something for everyone Cons: somebody else is usually reading it
I cannot remember a time when this 5X7 magazine did not exist in my home. Even as an elementary school child, I remember looking forward to reading "Daddy's Magazine" It was the one magazine we subscribed to.
There is something...

Pros: This magazine offers many wonderful topics of interest that will appeal to anyone. Cons: it's a shame children can't read sooner.
I have loved this magazine from the time I was quite young. I can still remember my dad trying to increase my word knowledge by having my sisters and I play along to see how many words we could correctly answer. This, I believe,is one reason that I...

Pros: For the real reader, up to date, emotional, funny and satisfying Cons: the covers seem to be leaning toward the shocking (grab-me from the new stand ) trend.
Chicken soup for the basic human soul stories. Plenty of laughs and real life articles concerning today's society. I began reading the books and magazine as a young child and while growing up with Readers Digest I found it has taught me that I am normal....

Pros: Wonderful and Easy to Read, a great way to spend your time, well-rounded range of topics Cons: Not for those who don't like to read
I have been a Reader's Digest subscriber for about a decade or so, and I find myself eagerly anticipating the next issue just days after a new one arrives. Reader's Digest is not like other magazines, which specialize in sports, fashion, and...

Pros: They publish some stories by average people- their readers. Cons: The stories are just that- average, and nothing more.
Personally, I don't think that reader's digest is worth the money that you pay for it. While some people enjoy the heartwarming stories, I personally find myself a little sickened by most of them; I mean, how real-world is this magazine? I think it is...

Pros: easy to take along anywhere Cons: sometimes, aggravating that it's not the entire article
I primarily buy this magazine when I am traveling. With all the interruptions that I experience while traveling, I like that I can read articles and be finished with them, getting what I assume are the highlights of longer pieces. I also like that the...

Pros: Short, entertaining reading Cons: None
Reader's Digest seems to have been around forever, and I think it is even better today. As a busy mom, I enjoy the short stories, jokes, quips, and quotes. I no longer have time to read novels, hardly even the morning paper! Reader's Digest is great...

Pros: Well written, humorous Cons: none
One of my favorite features in Reader's Digest are the amusing stories in "All in a Day's Work, Laughter is the Best Medicine, Life's Like That, Humor in Uniform, Campus Comedy and Virtual Hilarity". They pay readers $400.00 to submit their...

Pros: Reader's Digest is easy to locate in the wild...just look in your dentist's office, under the copy of People (cover story: "Charles and Di: a match made in heaven!") Cons: It's not really suited to 18-year-olds; I like more engaging reading materials
I can't believe someone would give Reader's Digest a bad review. What's not to like about the Digest? It's bland and nonoffensive, and there's a little something to please everyone.
First of all, I like the artwork on the back....
