Pros: The ultimate monthly guide to Reptiles Cons: I do not like Reptiles in general
Many months ago I saw an advertisement in the Sunday coupon section of the newspaper for a bunch of nature type magazines. The price for any of them was I believe twelve dollars. I never did get around to ordering one but remembered the name ...

Pros: for all ages Cons: *honestly can't think of any*

Reptiles Magazine: A must-have for all reptile enthusiasts. by c3363 ,Apr 03 '06
Pros: Lots of information, well-organized. Cons: A little expensive, geared more toward professionals, too species-specific, lots of ads.
Reptiles magazine is the only monthly publication devoted exclusively to reptiles and amphibians. This magazine is geared toward people who have some experience with reptiles and common terms associated with reptiles, however, it is also a very educational and interesting magazine for beginners. When I first started subscribing to Reptiles Magazine I was completely new to keeping reptiles. Now I own and breed several species including tortoises and bearded dragons.
This magazine includes general columns such as letters to the editor, news in reptiles, health care, breeding of a select species each month, a profile of a species, notes from field work of a herpetologist, and stories of regular people and their reptiles. There is also a very good directory of upcoming shows and events included as well as a product and breeder directory in each issue. There are even photo and art contests on a regular basis as well as monthly trivia questions where you can win reptile-related prizes. If you own reptiles or just like them, this is the magazine for you.

Pros: All ways fresh and interesting, and always something new. Cons: None to speak of.
Reptiles Magazine has been some thing I look forward to every month for the last few years. There is a large aray of articals, news, products etc every month.
One thing that I really like about REPTILES is that it targets a bit of all experince leves of reptile keeping. There are always articles about the basic beginer pets, and then they will also cover more exotic creatures to keep everyones intrest.
I have been keeping reptiles for almost 10 years, and I sill will usually learn something new with each issue. I think for the price, its a must have for any reptile keeper, or even just an interesting/educational read.
Its available at any large book/maf. store, and alot of pet shops. Be sure to check it out.
