Posters Everywhere

by jeanniekerns , Jun 03 '01
Pros: Posters, articles, priced just right
Cons: nothing really.
John Schneider, Scott Baio, Billy Idol, & Motley Crue.. That was just one edition in 1981 that Tiger Beat magazine was putting out, that of course I had to have. In fact, I had to have every Tiger Beat magazine that came out through the years of...

Tiger Beats all the other magazines!

by tj69662094 , Feb 17 '00
Pros: Great magazine with lots of stars
Cons: Once a month only
I have long been a reader of Tiger Beat magazine, since the days Michael J Fox, and oh so hot Phoebe Cates were on the covers. Why? Tiger Beat is the most informative and colorful teen magazine out there, always with the latest Hollywood news and...

Posters to fill your room!

by soccerGRL3 , Jun 06 '00
Pros: lots of posters
Cons: not very interesting articles
I have purchased this magazine in the past because of all the great pictures they have of my favorite stars! I took all the posters and filled all my walls. This magazine doesn't have many articles that are very appealing to me but the pictures are...

Gag me now! - From a TEEN

by Brelise , Dec 20 '00
Pros: Fun for a little while
Cons: Only about the same thing, all the time..BOYS, doesn't mention any other things in life BUT boys, talks about trivial things nobody SHOULD care about, your money is better spent on other magazines
Tiger Beat is the absolute worst "teen" magazine, I can tell you from experience. I am a senior in high school now, and when I was younger, around 7th grade, my mom bought me a subscription to Tiger Beat for my birthday. For the first 3 months...

For Teens Not Their Parents

by Bettypine , Jun 16 '00
Pros: Expressly for young teen girls, who love this magazine.
Cons: My regret is I am no longer that teen girl I was once. In my eyes there are no cons with this timeless magazine.
As an adult it's unfair to write a review with that bias. Leaving that behind, Tiger Beat and the age group it targets, (pretend you are a teen once again) is a fantastic magazine. It has it all, as it has for a number of years.

I know...

corny and unoriginal

by mia2005 , Jun 26 '00
Pros: interesting tidbits.
Cons: fake, shallow, tires quickly.
My friend bought me this magazine. Never have I been so disgusted. Sure, I love boy bands like N*Sync and Backstreet Boys as much as the next teenage girl, and yes I swoon over Freddie Prinze Jr, Ryan Phillippe, and Josh Hartnett, and yes, this mag does...

Pros: a few color posters
Cons: the pic are in black and white!!

NKOTB

by opiyum , Feb 02 '01
Pros: It brings joy and boy crazyness.
Cons: Trendy. Ew why does epinions use that like its good?
Tiger Beat is a sure bet for a preteen girl who wants posters of boys to google at. For parents wondering if it's appropriate, the subjects (boys) are pretty allright, nothing unsuitable for a young teen, however, all media things like this kind of train...

The funny thing is people read it!!!

by OpinionKate , Jun 16 '00
Pros: None, oh except that cute Brian Litterel pull out poster (JK).
Cons: EVERYTHING. The message, the waste of time...
TigerBeat....hahahaha. I laugh at anyone who reads this magazine. I strongly think that this is a bad magazine for the following reasons.
a. It sends bad messages. Boys and Britney aren't the most important things in the world. Shouldn't teens...
