Pros: Lots to read Cons: Layout is a bit cluttered
If you are like me, you probably get way too much information in the form of email blasts, web sites, weekly and monthly periodicals, TV, radio and books. If you are interested in high tech, then Wired is worth a look. Wired Magazine is one magazine to...

Pros: Wide variety of tech-related articles cover many topics. Cons: Sometimes visually jarring and difficult to read.
Wired is one of those magazines that I occasionally pick up and leaf through and always like, but never seem to actually subscribe to. Partly, I was worried that it would prove to be too techy and arcane for me, full of in-depth articles about ...

Pros: Occasionally has good articles. Cons: Too much advertising, glitz, and fluff.
When it first came out, I was a Wired subscriber. Since then, the magazine has gone increasingly downhill, eschewing substance for style.
The latest issues are filled with banal articles on subjects like "Amazon.com And Beyond,"...

Pros: Full of pretty colors! Cons: My eyes are burning. I haven't found an article.
I can remember when there was a big buzz over Wired several years ago. Here was a magazine that promised to make high tech hip. I picked up the magazine and realized that since I still owned my Commodore 64, I probably wasn't the target audience. ...

Pros: Occasional useful article. Eye-catching lay-out. Cons: Often shallow. Often silly. Always gimmicky. Definitely not what it used to be.
"Wired" used to be a pretty cool magazine. I used to have access to it where I worked and I read if with regularity. It always was a mile wide and an inch deep but that was OK. Even the dull stuff was creatively presented and there was ...

Pros: Slow-burning cheap fuel, wonderful support for William Gibson's prophecies of the Dark Future Cons: Ads ads ads and nothing to use
I received a subscription to Wired with one or another of the programs or peripherals I have purchased this past year. After 6 issues of the magazine I can see why it's given away.
Basically, this is yet another of those slick and thick...

Pros: Pretty. Used to be Trendy. Cons: Less and less worthwhile pages per issue
I've read Wired on and off for several (4 or 5) years. In the beginning, it was an elite magazine for those on the leading edge of a revolution that hadn't quite hit. Then, suddenly, the revolution hit, exploded, washed up on the shore, and generally...

Pros: Great Articles Cons: Who has my copy?
This is my very favorite magazine. The day I receive my copy of Wired at work is always a good day. Seems I also have more bowel movements on that day too.
You can always count on wired to keep you up to date on the latest electronic fads...

My Wired magazine subscription started almost three years ago, about the time I realized my MacAddict subscription was becoming stale. Not only is the price of $12 a year excellent, but I find the vast majority of the articles to be extremely well...
