I love to read. I just adore the written word. Before I became the mother to 3 active little gals I read a book a day at least. I was never seen without a book in my bag/purse. Well, once I was. It was a day I was leaving work early and spending the...

Pros: None that I can think of. Cons: Does not fact-check articles and chooses to ignore mistakes rather than print a retraction.
In June 2007, Woman's World prominently featured a diet/weight loss article claiming "Better than Gastric Bypass!" about the Kimkin's diet. The diet's founder (named Kim Drake in the article) claimed to have lost 198 pounds in 11 months and had kept it ...

Pros: Brief easy reading Cons: Watch out for the recipes, the ones I've used were less than great.
Woman's World magazine always seems to catch my eye at the grocery line. The articles are brief and oddly simple. You won't find any earth-shattering information in this magazine, just helpful hints, disease of the week stories, and some average...
I like the fact that it is not filled with tons and tons of ads, like other magazines. I've looked at some women's mags that literally have 75-100 pages of ads! I don't think I should have to pay to view ads for things I wouldn't buy anyway.

Great reading material while on the go! by mymaggiemaey ,Nov 26 '04
Pros: Very few ads-insightful reading-great for an "on the go" person Cons: A little flimsy but still well worth the read!
For those who state that it isn't as great as Redbook, etc., because of the length-try ripping out all the ads in those magazines and you will see that Woman's World actually has more articles than any other magazine out there! The others are so full of ads that there is actually very little reading.
There are very helpful hints as well as shorter stories for when you are on the go. Many people have also stated on here that the price is high-just remember that you are getting one a week, so that's 40 more issues than you get with your other basic mags.
Pros: great read everytime, helpful, cheap Cons: none
This magazine is wonderful! There are so many great articles and tips loaded into it, you just have to pick it up and purchase it every time it is issued. It also helps that it is a weekly magazine.
The articles and stories relate to many different types of women, so everyone can benefit from it. The recipes inside are easy and cheap to make.
I find it a pleasure to read a magazine directed at women that offers such great advice.
You would not think that such a small publication could provide such a huge amount of enjoyment. I must say that I purchase and read nearly every issue. I know that when I open this magazine that I am going to find helpful things that relate to me and my family. Working moms, homemakers, newlyweds, the list goes on. Anyone can benefit from this magazine.
There are many contests and promotions in their issues and they are easy to do. This magazine is not as full of ads that many women's magazines are. The whole magazine is down to earth. Each issue is very reasonably priced as well.
