Pros: Best Photography of ANY boating magazine. Cons: Lots of ads.
Yes, it's over-the-top. But it is also the best out there. I agree there are lots of ads, but there is also great articles on yachts that are out of the financial reach of well almost everyone. This magazine caters to motor yachts more than sail by a large margin. The photography is the best of any boating magazine and the articles are for people who can afford to spend three weeks in Fuji and then fly to the Bahamas to return to their other yacht. It's about a lifestyle. Would you rather read about 20 foot runabouts or the latest 155 foot world cruiser? The later holds my interest.
