Mr. Paul Mooney is simply a comedic genius way ahead of his time. His name might not be a household one, but one listen and you'll know why. He's considered the Godfather by the likes of comedians such as Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Martin Lawrence and Damon Wayons. His mixture of political and racial satire is far too real for mainstream America. He's raw but real. He will leave you laughing until it hurts, and at the same time thinking, "Hmmmmh, he's got a point." Mooney has been the chief writer for Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, and Redd Foxx. Mooney wrote most of the material on all of Prior's hit albums. As head writer for The Richard Pryor Show, he was responsible for the national television debuts of Robin Williams, Sandra Bernhard, Marsha Warfield, John Witherspoon and Tim Reid. As head writer for Fox's "In living Color", he created the characters, "Homey D. Clown", and "The brothers Tom". This is the one CD in my collection that is truly PRICELESS!!
