Pros: Too many to list in 15 words or less. Cons: Hearing somebody dying is difficult.
This album is difficult to critique. Never before had Queen displayed such emotion and delivered a solid album like 1991's Innuendo. Everything from the music, the vocals, the lyrics, the art work, to the atmosphere snaps into place, making ...

Pros: It's new, it's different yet still Queen Cons: The new promising direction Queen seemed to take on this CD will be forever halted.
It's a bit ironic that the last album to be released by Queen while lead singer Freddie Mercury was alive is also the beginnings of a few things for Queen. First off, this would be the first album released by Queen of the decade. Released in February ...

Pros: Nearly half are major hits, the others deserve to be. Amazing consistency of quality. Cons: Truly none.
This, Queen's penultimate studio album (their last with Freddie alive), is often overlooked when recital of the band's greatest albums takes place. A Night at the Opera is invariably the one which emerges from such discussions, although I think Innuendo ...

Pros: An all-around consistent album that recalls the glory days of the 70's. Cons: None. It's the quintessential Queen album.
1991's Innuendo was the album that finally put Queen back on track, a track that, unfortunatley, became unhinged with Freddie Mercury's death from AIDS. Even the U.S. began to take notice of the band again; The Miracle was successful enough to have...

Pros: Great production work, excellent writing. Cons: A whole bunch of throw away tracks.
I think I'm rating "Innuendo" as a four star disc based on its craftsmanship alone. Despite the fact that this is a disc loaded with throw away tracks (not a bad thing in this case) it's a purely enjoyable listen from beginning to end. What do I ...

Pros: Just about everything really. Cons: Nothing.
By the time of their 20th anniversary year in 1991, Queen were already musical legends. They’d sold millions upon millions of records all over the world, released perhaps the most iconic single of the popular music age, had hits in all kinds of musical...

Pros: A true work of art! Cons: None.
I think it would be fair to state in this review that, initially, I was not the least bowled over by this album. The reason for that is probably the fact that the musical structure of the album as a whole, took me a bit by surprise. Here was a work...

Pros: The whole album... Cons: ...bar "All God's People".
Innuendo is without a doubt the one studio-made album that every Queen fan should own. For an album that I knew already contained five Greatest Hits and two of my five favourite Queen songs, I was expecting something pretty impressive. However,...

Pros: The track Innuendo Cons: Generally weaker album than most of the previous ones
This was the album which announced the death of the Great Freddie Mercury. The legend got to die in peace, and everyone should be grateful because of that.
If I were to review this album without passion, this is one of the few mediocre pieces...

Pros: Exeptional! Cons: None!
I have been a queen fan for such a long time. When Innuendo came out I waited for it in the stores to buy it. And when I listened I knew right away that it would be my absolute favorit. There is nothing like it. The mood of the album is so sad and so...

Pros: Excellent music and an important release Cons: A departure from popular music
The death of Freddie Mercury, aka, Frederich Bulsara, was, to say the least, one of the saddest stories ever written. The loss of such an excellent vocalist and performer is indeed very sad. This album marks his true final work. The songs on this...

Sensational
by shaunzie ,Dec 11 '05
Pros: Beautifully complex masterpieces Cons: None
Queen's sound strayed a bit from what you would typically expect from them in the 80s. But, with Innuendo, they went back to the 70s roots that made them famous, and they did it with flying colors. Every song is written with heart and passion. Freddie's vocals are top-notch, and the other band members contribute to make a true gem in the Queen catalog. This was the last album that was released by Queen while Freddie Mercury was alive. Knowing that gives many of the songs on this album much more of a heartfelt meaning. This album is beautiful, and is a must for any lover of beautiful music.
