Pros: Five or so good songs... Cons: Sappy and cliche
The Barenaked Ladies are both clothed and very unladylike. In fact, as most of you should know by now they are men. The Canadian quintet is also unapologetically funny. That combination could spell their death, instead over ten years since...

Pros: An intriguing, noteworthy follow-up, this left no question that BNL were here to stay. Cons: Simply that it isn't as good as the debut.
The sophomore project is that age old nemesis of the musician. No matter how good your debut was, people (fans especially) will almost certainly expect you to equal or even to somehow better your first effort. A task which could without doubt be a lot to ...

Pros: A mature, well-crafted album that reflected a band much longer in the tooth. Cons: Nobody bought it. At all.
Six Degrees of Steven Page (or something like that)
THE SCENE

Pros: A great album for your collection Cons: None that I have found!
I have been a fan of Barenaked Ladies from way back. SO, I was one of the few that bought this CD when it first came out! Tracks on the CD are:
1)Jane
This song is about a guy who really likes a girl, but she just wants to be friends. Not...

Pros: Some of BNL's finest songs Cons: This particular album is often overlooked
Barenaked Ladies is a great rock group. Despite their many fans, their talent is generally ignored, which is a shame. Maybe You Should Drive, BNL's second album, reflects their talent.
Breaking it down by track.....
1. Jane

Pros: Great Cd with catchy songs Cons: Rather Depressing
This Cd is great for fall and winter. It's a rather depressing cd but still has some catchy songs like "Alternative Girlfriend", "Jane" and "These Apples."
I think this shows a more mature side of Barenaked ladies but it still has some amusing...

Pros: Catchy songs that don't all sound the same Cons: I honesty can't think of any!
Hmmm. This album seems to be ignored by reviewers. Actually, it was the last Barenaked Ladies CD that I bought. I suppose the reason is that that their last two albums are more well known, and songs from them are heard on the radio here in the US. I...

Pros: Best Original Music for Young and Old! Cons: Only 12 tracks on the CD! Never enough!
If you were to try any recommend a CD that spans the generations, this CD is it. If you are someone who has not found this Canadian Pop Group, shame on you!
Living in Austin, Texas, this group has been a virtual unknown this far south, until...
