Pros: Sounds very natural its like a different band they are Nirunplugvana Cons: They didnt play more songs
So this is what happens when the power goes out. Normally you would think Nirvana and electricity go together like Payless shoes and low quality. Maybe someone stole their regular instruments I just don’t know, but all said this is a very good album....

Pros: nirvana Cons: none
while other groups like sublime and the Beatles have shown us what a mistake it can be to release new music after the band's leader is dead... nirvana pull it off with flying colors... while no particular song on this album stands out as truly great......

Pros: The addition of aucustics was a nice change Cons: Kurt's Dead :(
Of all the CD's I own, Nirvana Unplugged: Live in New York is the most listened to CD that I own. It never ceases to amaze me the ammount to focus and energy that Kurt Cobain puts into his lyrics and music. Kurts exuedes raw energy into a single album...

Pros: The soulful side of Kurt is easily heard. Cons: The Meat Puppets TRIED to sing with Kurt.
This album was and still is one of my favorite Nirvana CDs. In every song you hear Kurt bearing his soul to his fans. There are none of the usual loud guitars and drums, so you can really hear Kurt's soulful voice and the strong emotion he put into the...

Pros: Everything Cons: Nothing
This album is, in terms of serious albums, the best I own. Cobain and the band did beyond a perfect job in their selection of understated mellow alternative rock songs. Songs like "Jesus Don't Want Me For a Sunbeam," with an accordion being...

Pros: Nirvana itself. Cons: It is unplugged...
Since I first listened to Nirvana´s Unplugged CD, I have been asking myself: why do all rock bands must play an unplugged concert at MTV to get there? Why did Kurt Cobain do that? And, finally, how does a band that has done the best album ever (and here...

Pros: Great songs on the album and lengthy Cons: none
I bought this album because I heard the first album, Bleach and loved the songs from there. Then I had my friend make me a mix tape of some of the songs on other albums and they were great. I love this album because it's live and you can tell that...

Pros: You get to hear the greatest at his work Cons: Wanting more!!!!!
This cd is one of the best in my collection. You get to hear Kurt in one of his best acoustic performances. His voice is like butter. Between most of the songs you get to hear him make little comments and even once joke around! You get to hear them...

Pros: Brilliant transition of grunge to acoustic, increible singing Cons: somehting in the way may become a bit boring for "non hardcore" fans
Kurt cobain was brilliant. i think we have all come to realize that now that hes gone. Unplugged in New york does nothing short of prove this point. who else could have taken blood wrenching white static and turn it into an incredible acoustic...

Nirvana Unplugged...it just doesn't get any better
by apc53 ,Jul 06 '06
Pros: The album has more emotion than a room full of women on the rag. Cons: People bash this album because some of the best songs aren't even theirs.
How do I even begin to describe Nirvana Unplugged? There is so much more to this release than any other in recent history. This recording was Nirvana's gift to the world of music. This recording has everything, including the heart and soul Nirvana always put into their music.
My favorite song on the album is "Where Did You Sleep Last Night?" This song is a prime example of the pure passion Kurt Cobain could put into his music. And just like many of his other songs, it almost sounds like he just wants to break down and let all his emotions out. And the same thing happens to me when I listen
Say what you want about Nirvana. Love them or hate them, anyone can appreciate the raw passion and soul of Nirvana Unplugged.
