Pros: R&B plus Jazz plus Dance = Romance! Great feelings turned into equally great music Cons: ...(not making this collection a double album?)
Summary: Defining SADE's music is much easier than expressing the majesty of her works. I experience creative hardships when trying to find the right words to express just how good gems like Smooth Operator and Paradise sound, thus imagine ... read more

Pros: Sade's greatest hits Cons: None
Summary: Sade isn't your average diva. She doesn't do red carpets (her recent appearance at Alicia Keys' Keep a Child Alive event being an exception). She's never done intimate, sit down interviews with Oprah or Barbara Walters, made millions publishing ... read more

Pros: A seductive but cool voice singing over seductive but cool grooves. Cons: "Jezebel" and 'Pearls"-two sad songs that mess up the flow.
Summary: Sometimes music manages to be successful simply because it's *good music*, despite the fact that it may not tie in to anything that's remotely popular at the moment. This has been the case for almost two decades now for Sade (pronounced "Shah-day", not ... read more

Pros: do I even need to say anything... Cons: no such thing on this record
Summary: When an artist breaks onto the scene and has critical/commercial success, one of two things could happen while they prepare record number two. The record label could want them to branch out and try all sorts of things or they could want them to ... read more

Pros: Great as background music for a date. Cons: Too many of the cuts sound alike.
Summary: When I've heard a particular artist or group for a while, but I'm still not sure if I want to buy individual albums, I tend to pick up the 'Best of' collections. I give it a few spins, see if I take to it or not, and then go from there. I had heard a few ... read more

Pros: The title says it all - The Best of Sade Cons: The only caveat is that you have to pay for it!
Summary: If I were restricted to review Sade’s music in just five words they would be sensual, passionate, feminine, melodious and soulful. Removing one word from the list would not do full justice to her style of music making.
SADE WHO?

Pros: Timeless Sade Classics Cons: Jacket Should Have Included Discography/History
Summary: When I wrote my first review for epinions on "Lover's Rock" (released in November), I received a few comments from members that the article could have used more detail about Sade's style. In my opinion of "Lover's Rock", I compared the sound and ... read more
