Retrospective, Vol. 1 (1974-1980) by Rush

Pros: Great selection of early Rush classics. Remastered for better quality.
Cons: None.

It's been 23 reviews since I touched upon a subject matter related to the Canadian Rock Power Trio known as Rush.

Logic dictates that I was due.

And so, before I go on a semi-hiatus from Epinions (i.e. vacation), I thought...

Pros: Freewill, The Trees, good, intelligent lyrics, great musicianship.
Cons: By-Tor and the Snow Dog is weird. La Villa Strangiato is boring.

This is the only Rush album I own (so far). I'm broke right now, so this'll have to wait:). Anyway, like it says in my profile, I'm a libertarian. Rush is popular with us libertarians because of the lyrics of their songs, which deal with Objectivism, Ayn ...

Pros: Most all of early Rush hits
Cons: Almost everything here is on Chronicles

'Best-of' compilations are one of the most controversial elements in pop music today. Some people believe that having a CD that reviews all of a band's most popular songs is a good thing so they can have all their favourites all on one or two discs....
