Pros: Solid sound and production, both aggressive and passive sides. Cons: A lot of songs tend to sound similar and "blend" in with each other.
Smash Mouth's brand of eclectic retropop-meets-punk was nearly a household item after the success of "Walking On The Sun", which became an all-too-common victim of the overplay epidemic. But F

Pros: More "normal" sounding pop music Cons: Some songs sound alike
I always say that I like any kind of music, as long as its Rock. And my tastes have a wide range, as you may have noticed by my earlier reviews. Though already a year old, this CD is one of my latest purchases. I have to admit, I probably would have...
Pros: A unique sound, catchy tunes, positive thoughts behind most songs without being "syrupy" Cons: -
I actually bought and enjoyed a CD with NEW MUSIC on it. See, at 29, I am an old fogey when it comes to music. Stuck in the 70's or 80's or something like that. Very little of the new stuff actually stays tuned on the stereo for long. ...
Each and every time Smash Mouth releases a single, the radio stations play it until the CD is worn down. Listen for any more than 15 minutes and you will hear the latest. And you will be sick to death of it. Honestly, though, it's not the fault of the...
Pros: Lead vocals amazing, good variety of music, good harmonies, great for dancing, lyrics included Cons: Lyrics hard to understand in a few places, a few songs are more mysterious in meaning than others
I enjoy some contemporary adult music, but rarely buy CDs in that category. Well, Smash Mouth just wouldn't take "no" for an answer! Less than 24 hours ago after months of longing, I finally bought their album "Astro...
Pros: Many different genres in 1 easy-to-carry package, no parental advisory, addictive music, meaningful lyrics Cons: Radio stations overplay their songs, it's not SMASH MOUTH's fault!
Astro Lounge is a far cry from Smash Mouth's previous album, Fush Yu Mang. Smash Mouth seems to have mellowed out on this one, and really found a great sound. Astro Lounge mixes many different music genres into a very awesome CD.
"Astro Lounge" is a wonderful album. My title of this review is the title of yet another of their catchy tunes to dance or just listen to. I bought their first album and liked most of the songs but not to where I would take the album to work...
Pros: You put it on at a party and there will be no awkward moment when people have to adjust to the music Cons: Sometimes you don't want those freaking songs in your head
Astrolounge is not the sort of album I would want to listen to by myself. The songs are absurdly, dangerously catchy. What's wrong with that? Not that much. Basically, there's nothing special about this album. Middle of the road mass appeal. ...
Pros: Good voices, good guitar playing, good times, great band Cons: The cd will cost you some money, but all good things come with a price
Smash mouth knows what's up and how to please their fans. People want to hear them, because there is no other band like them. Smash mouth is so into wanting to be original, that they don't even listen to the radio or other bands because they don't want...
Pros: new sound, several really memorizing songs Cons: less guitar, turned kind of soft
Smash Mouth, the punk rock band who brought us their first cd "Fush Yu Mang" with the hit "Walkin' On the Sun", has gone soft. Their new cd entitled "Astro Lounge" contains the hit "All Star", the song from...
Pros: catchy music, all around enjoyable Cons: hmmm... still thinking. Let me get back to you on that...
a few YEARS ago(could it really have been that long?) i heard this song... all i could get out of it was "you might as well be walkin' on the sun." i remember thinking: this is a really WEIRD song! i have never in my life heard a guy with a...
