I have always been a huge Janis Joplin fan and until now I couldn't compare anyone to her. Beth Hart has completely blown me away with this album. Her incredible vocals...She can make a scream sound wonderful! All the songs have a very bluesy rock sound to them which is exactly what I am looking for. The only mainstream song is LA Song... I love it but it doesn't compare to most of the other tracks on this album. If you want mainstream pop...this album is not for you...but if you want blues with a rock edge then I highly recommend this album. She is a very talented young lady.
