Pros: Lyrically enhanced, quality sounds Cons: Vulgar language, extreme violence
When I first heard eminem's first album, "Infinite", I knew he was going to be great. The Slim Shady LP wasn't what I fully expected, but because it was his first "MAINSTREAM" release, many people were overwhelmed by it. Then, he released "The Marshall...

Pros: Funny, ticking people off. Cons: Doesn't say anything that Slim Shady didn't, very self absorbed
I read allot of reviews on this album before purchasing it and was sure that I would be blown away by the profound statement on the modern mind set of the angry white male in modern America that the disk would hold. More than anything else this was an...

Pros: A very original album that brings totally new stuff to the table Cons: some skits but they are funny sometimes
This is a very original and solid album. I don't know why on the page to come into this review section says 1 star because this album deserves 7! All people who are offended by this album just don't listen to it! I mean really why complain? Just dont...

Pros: Another example of the trash being foisted upon America by the Music Industry... Cons: Wouldn't let my cat or your mother listen to this...
This review is my carjack of the I’ve Got The Music In Me write-off to which I wasn't invited by Cartman, a bag man who came in here and trashed one of my reviews...special mention to Smithtowner, a Weiner who worships the...

Pros: Awesome beats and humour. Cons: Eminem can go a little over the line a little with the song Kim.
(quote from eminem for the I have to say that I am very sorry for having such a bad review on the Encore CD by Eminem. I am just a noob but i'm trying the best i can. thanks. ON TO THE REVIEW. The Marhsall Mather LP is one of the funniest, most ...

Pros: Every song is performed with great skill and evolves around one theme. Cons: That theme is violence and anger, and the songs are pretty much alike each other.
First thing people notice about Eminem is that he is rude, merciless, and messed up in the head. His lyrics are very violent and degrades women. He also disrespects his fans, and other stars.
However, everything that he says is spoken with so...

Pros: smooth beats, crazy lyrics, this CD seems "personal" Cons: none
When Eminem first came out I couldn't stand him. Something about that "My name is..." song just annoyed me to no end. So I didn't like Mr Slim Shady. As time went on, and he did some tracks with Dre and released new albums, he kinda grew on...

Pros: Nice beats Cons: Horrile language, and many insults
I am like a said before a music listener of a kind's, but my lord. This album is discraceful to the whole rap community.
The lyrics in this album are unbelieveable. And we all wonder why are children are doing what they are doing. Have you...

Pros: Good Beats, Tight rhymes Cons: The entire album uses shock technique to lure people in. And due to the controversy it causes in congress, it works really well
"F**k, s*it, ass, c**t, shoobidie doo wop" is what comes to mind when I think of the sophomore album from rapper Eminem/Slim Shady/Marshall Mathers/ angry guy who knows about freedom of speech but not much about proper frustration...

Pros: Great CD, awesome beats, and meaningful lyrics
Cons: Not suitable for children, explicit and offensive lyrics.
Slim Shady LP by Eminem is by far his best work. He has matured from his previous juvenile experiences. Nearly every song, excluding the often odd interludes contains a good rhythm that makes you want to sing and shout. The lyrics can be very...

Pros: Honesty, straight up. Don't bite your tongue for nobody. Cons: Music doesn't have cons.
If I was stranded on some desert island in an ocean, this CD would be one of the ones I bring, right up there with The Chronic and Thriller. Eminem is one of my favorite rap artists now, and it is fair to say that he's one of the best out there today....

Pros: Great songs, great Humor, complete honesty, and the controversy Cons: Rappers other than Eminem performing on the CD
This CD took me by surprise, I couldn't believe how enticing it was to keep listening, how entertaining and well written the lyrics are, how catchy the beats are and how great the humor is.
I am not a rap or hip hop fan, but I love this CD....

Pros: lyric beauty Cons: if you can stand the inventive profanity
I'm a college student, and I'm a dramatic literature major, so I always tend to see dramatic and literate (ha ha) things in all the art that I come into contact with. There are a few things about Eminem that I don't think people mention enough.
To...

Pros: Talented artist Cons: Shocking lyrics
You may have had a taste of Marshall Mathers' "Slim Shady" on Top 40 radio or MTV recently. I have, which inspired me to buy the compact disc. The heavily edited radio single is about as close as you will get to anything "PG-rated"...

Pros: none Cons: extremely graphic language..lyrics lack
This music is worthy of awards!?!? I dont understand the music industry these days. This cd is based on catchy phrases, vulgar language (very offensive vulgar language), violence, bad morals etc. - AND THATS IT! It has truly worthless lyrics. I would...
