Pros: Em’s awesome, aggressive delivery. Witty and intelligent lyrics. Controversial content. Excellent production. Cons: Skits. Tends to get a bit tedious and repetitive. Couple of weak tracks.
Now by now I expect everyone has heard of Eminem. With three (four including the D12 album) successful albums, and a box office smash hit (8 mile) all under his belt, the angry blonde must be a very happy man in deed.
So skipping past the...

Pros: Eminem's unsurpassed lyrical skill over rock-solid production...combined, an epic masterpiece. Cons: None. This is a very candid look into one of hip-hop's most brilliant psyches.
Nobody saw Eminem coming --- nobody. With his introduction into the hip-hop mainstream on The Slim Shady LP (1999), he ignited a small wildfire deep in the heart of conservative America. A highly-successful and controversial solo debut, ...

Pros: Rare, but unmentionable because of all the Cons Cons: Vulgar, Obscenities, References to violence, sexual incidents, talk of bad situations, etc. etc. etc.
I'll admit, at first when I heard the song "The Real Slim Shady" on the radio, it sounded good with a nice beat and rhythm. That is about the only good thing I can find about his latest album "The Marshall Mathers LP".
...

Pros: free-flowing lyricism, catchy beats, hilarious twisted humor Cons: a few commercialized songs, pretty much the exact same idea as Slim Shady LP, the song effort seems to decline towards the end
Alright, so I'm a little late in my review, my apologies, I had to let all the groupies and teenyboppers who, thanks to Eminem, officially claim to be underground, have their run with this CD. Joy to the world, TRL has stooped to a new low by aiding and...

Pros: Pure Classic!!! Genius Lyrics, Unmatched Beats, Stories, Variety, Comedy Cons: Kim and Drug Ballad, Bizarre on Amityville
Well its obvious to everybody that my favorite rapper out there right now is Eminem. Ive reviewed his first and last LPs, along with his D-12 album, and his soundtrack. But now i have to get to the main event. Undoubtedly the greatest album he has put...

Pros: Outstanding production, lyrically second to none, one of the best hip hop albums ever made Cons: Lyrics may be offensive to some and thats about it
Its hard to believe buts its been almost 5 years since the release of this album Since that time has released 3 other albums "the Eminem Show" " 8 mile soundtrack" and of course his recent release "Encore" but none will ever match up to the genius hip ...

Pros: "The Way I am", "The Real Slim Shady" but little else redeems the album. Cons: Too hateful, Too serious, Too misogynistic, Not fun
You know, sometimes when an album's bad, it's still worth buying it because the singles are good. And that applies here. In the launching of Eminem's second full length album, he released three singles off it- 'The Real Slim Shady', 'The Way I Am' and...

Pros: Great subject matter and lyricism, funny, production Cons: Immature, a few weaker moments
The Marshall Mathers LP is the fastest selling rap album of all time, and the one Eminem album that is actually considered a classic by some. Whether it is actually a classic or not can be argued, but regardless of its status, it is definitely hard to ...

Pros: Lyrics, most beats, a lot of the content. Cons: Some beats, a lot of the content for some.
I'm not even going to bother with a history for Em. Everyone knows who he is, and everyone has probably heard at least a snippet of his music.
In addition, everyone also has an opinion on him. Some say he's evil, others say he's cool, other's...

Pros: Everything! Unbelievable rhyming, wit and flow, Amazing Production, Eminem at his absolute best Cons: Virtually nothing, a few guest appearances
Few albums have been as highly anticipated as The Marshall Mathers LP. The critical and commercial success of The Slim Shady LP, coupled with the controversy it created and the typical anxiety and anxiousness surrounding an artists sophomore performance ...

Pros: The album has its moments. Cons: Ignorant, cruel, and bigoted lyrics.
How do I feel about Eminem’s new release The Marshal Mathers LP? My opinion on this topic has changed dramatically since the release of this record in May 2000, but I just recently came to a final conclusion; I despise The Marshal Mathers...

Pros: Non Cons: Nothing good
(I was advised to give an opinion on this, rather than respond to my friend who gave his own very well-written opinion. This is what I wanted to say to him, and now to you all...)
I agree with your comments about the Eminem Lyrics. I personally did...

Pros: just about everything a rap release could ever hope to have Cons: the song Kim
People can say what they want about Eminem, one of the rash of white boy rappers from Detroit who have made good. OK, so his lyrics are full of dark images, violence, homophobic remarks, and topical humor. It doesn't matter. Eminem remains the...

Pros: Great beats and unparalleled rhyming and lyrical ability. Cons: Well, just a couple......
I bought this album right before going on my Senior trip to Florida, and I thought it would just give me something to listen to on the long bus ride. What I got put me in a moral dilemma.
Easily the most controversial album this year (and...

Pros: Eminem is still a master of words - and he's not afraid to let you know. "Stan" is an artfully disturbing account of obsessed fandom - and really serves as the album's saving grace Cons: Guest appearances clutter the album, the musical production is poor and thoughtless, many of the raps play out as simply unfocused anger
I will get to the point quickly:
Eminem's newest release on the Aftermath imprint, "The Marshall Mathers LP," is an error-laden second full-length.
Why, you ask? While others are praising his sophomore...
