Pros: A few standout tracks. And you can't accuse them of copying anyone. Cons: Vocals are harder to swallow, lyrics aren't as excellent, lousy production.
Production is a word that gets thrown around a lot in music critic land. It can mean anything from how an album flows to its sound quality. Well, mewithoutYou is never in trouble when it comes to flow. It’s the sound quality of this A to B ...

Pros: Great Lyrics
Great Vocals
Great Guitars
...Great Everything?..? Cons: wow...stating a Con is required, eh? well, i have none, whatsoever.

Pros: I love the lyrics, music, and way it's all presented-- including the CD cover art. Cons: I didn't like the screaming at first, but does add great effect to the words.
i was introduced to this band through it's lyrics. It's poetry that is screamed. This is very good, emotional music and I love it. I really wish there was more stuff like this out there, but the thing is, there isn't really other stuff out there like this. It's a class all on it's own. I love the lyrics, the music and the way that it is all presented. I would love to see Mewithoutyou live or meet them. I also wish that Mewithoutyou wrote some more stuff. I love this CD!

Pros: amazing lyrics set to a beautifully crunchy musical background Cons: the vocal style takes some getting used to
Wow, listening to this CD has completely turned me around. I started out not liking it at all. I listened to the first track on the album and the vocals sounded like meaningless garbage being screamed out randomly and never picked it up again... Until the recently released "The Nail" tooth and nail CD sampler came out and I heard a song on there that I really liked. It turned out to be the more conventional 2nd track off the same album. After giving it a listen a couple times through I love this CD. Lyrically its got amazing depth and musically it rivals everything I have listened to lately
