Pros: inspirational, moving, excellent songs & voice Cons: that I didn't buy it sooner
I have been a fan of Randy Travis for years now. He signed his first record deal back in 1985 and has been putting out the hits ever since then. I had Randy's Rise and Shine CD on my wish list for a long time when I finally broke down and ...

Pros: Lyrically refreshing, thought-provoking songs, instrumentation Cons: Not all as good as Three Wooden Crosses, but almost.

Amazing Work
by d_jsmith ,Aug 14 '04
Pros: Great music, great words, great voice. Cons: NONE
I LOVE this CD! A lot of times it takes me a few times of listening to really enjoy a CD, however, the first time I heard "Rise and Shine" I was in awe. It is AMAZING! Not only is it some of the best of Randy Travis' work, I consider it some of the best Christian music I've ever heard. He really focuses on salvation and faith in the music and it is refreshing to hear. I want to buy this CD for everyone I know and plan to for some Christmas gifts.
It's also a great mix of types of music. There are upbeat songs, ballads and fun songs. I keep this CD in my car and listen to it all the time.
