Pros: Truly amazing pop-punk/emo songs Cons: Not for those who dislike pop-punk
Few sub-strata of genre are as prone to mocking as the quirky hybrid of pop-punk and emo popularized by artists like Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional and Taking Back Sunday. The combination of bouncy beats, nihilistic lyrics and radio-friendly ...
Other than story of the year and LostProphets, there hasn't been a good band to come out recently. This cd came out and totally shocked me. I heard Homesick at Space Camp and I thought it was alright, but then I bought the CD and I WAS AMAZED! It is ...

Pros: The lyrics, The vocals, and the beats are shredding Cons: everything except #11
Fall Out Boy is now my favorite band after their debut CD which is mostly about Pete Wentz ex. girl friend who cheated on both of his friends. In this CD you could feel the emotions oozing out of the songs esp. on the 1st song "Tell That Mick...", which ...
Pros: tell-tale lyricism, great guitar riffs, and slick packaging Cons: repitiveness, sometimes seemingly untalented drumming
Fall Out Boy is a four piece band from Chicago Illinois who previously starred in a 5 piece hardcore band. They have long left their hardcore roots in favor of a more promising and radio-friendly road, which they found I might add. After joining Less ...
Pros: Good, non-annoying beats, catchy vocals, Good voices, funny long song titles Cons: can't think of anything
The thing that I like best about Fall Out Boy is their beats and lyrics. I could listen to their songs all the time and never get sick of them. Their sound is original. I also really like Patrick's voice. I think that their lyrics are really catchy. My favorite lyric is from "Tell that Mick He Just Made My List Of Things to Do Today" (...Let's play this game/called when you catch fire/I wouldn't p*ss to put you out...) Fall Out Boy is on Fire!

Pros: Fall out Boy delivers catchy hooks and lyrics. Cons: There were only 12 songs which only makes about 40 minutes worth of music.
This c.d. was incredible! Tracks 1-5 stood out especially. I wouldn't exactly call them emo but they make good punk-rock music. Saturday stood out the most in my opinion..Patrick Stump delivered it 105%. The screaming and the two high notes at the end in my opinion make the song. The lyrics written by Pete Wentz really make you listen to what the song is about...they make you think and you can conclude what you want from the songs. Fall Out Boy doesn't make you have one opinion you can take whatever meaning you want from any of the lyrics.
