No Sebastian Bach ?
by madisonmike ,Nov 18 '04
Pros: Good solid songs. Cons: No Sebastian Bach>
First off listening to this album isn't as bad as I thought it would be.
There are alot of good points about the album the songs are solid , The album starts out with a balls out heavy song titled "NEW GENERATION" , This is something you'ld expect from Skid Row's progression from album to album.
The bad news is no Sebastian Bach on vocals , The new singer (Johnny Solinger) is a good rock and roll vocalist , But lacks the power & intensity of Sebastian Bach. The songs carry a hard rock meets punk type of vibe , Which the old Skid Row rarely had a punk vibe.
Getting To the songs , There's an excellent slower tune titled "Born A Begger" in which vocalist Johnny Solinger does a great vocal melody in the verses.
Bad points why remake "I Remember You" the song was perfect before now it's a heavy punk song , HORRIBLE!!!!!
All in all a good rock and roll album but not as good as the Sebastian Bach era!
