Pros: big hits from a great band Cons: No Prisoner; liner notes need more
311 may be the police code for indecent exposure, but the exposure the band 311 has received over the past decade has been quite decent. Seven albums and a slew of hits has finally led to this neat little package simply titled Greatest Hits ...
Pros: Over 17 songs, 2 new, great tracks Cons: 'Prisoner' is not on it. Concert favorites would have been cool too.
I have been a fan and follower of 311 since the early part of the mid 90's. Their unique style and blend of hard rock, hip hop, reggae, and dancehall was what drew me into their amazing music. At the time, there were bands with the depressing and angry ...
Pros: Solid collection of hits from a talented band. There's "Amber"...there's "Homebrew"... Cons:"Come Original" and "Creatures (For A While)" are really the only cons.
When I stop to ponder why I adore 311's sound so much, there really aren't any specific details I can give you as to why they're one of my favorite bands. It's just a contagion, an infection if you will; a chaotic yet calming, obvious yet somehow ...
Pros:::Excellent collection from my favorite band. 2 new tracks:: Cons:::They left off "Prisoner"::
Its no secret that Im a huge 311 fan. Some would use the word obsessed when trying to describe my love for them and the music they bring to the plate each time around. Upon hearing the announcement of a 311 Greatest ...
311 has graced the airwaves since the early 90’s and briefly made it into the big MTV spotlight with three huge singles in ’95 off of their self-titled disc. The band from Omaha Nebraska found their own style with a mix of metal, modern ...
311 has had a very hard time getting to the point they have finally reached during the last few years. Many previous bands, formed by the 311-members in hope of recognition, have come and gone, without a lot of succes. But this long and tiresome musical ...
Pros: Pretty much the entire album rocks. Cons: "Love Song" is a little dull; not much else to complain about.
Before we start, I'll say I hadn't really been a fan of 311. But I got the opportunity to listen to their newest album, Greatest Hits '93-'03 this week. They've got a rock/rap/reggae sound to them, which I really do like. Track ...

Pros: The whole freakin' album... Cons: "How Do You Feel" seems kind of... I dunno, thrown in.
I consider myself to be very picky when it comes to what I'm listening to. The scan is my best friend. This album however, always seems to be in the perfect order, almost as if it's all just one big song. I tend to get weirded out if I don't hear the curiously uplifting "You Wouldn't Believe" after the comfy "I'll Be Here Awhile", but could listen to "Creatures (For A While)" for quite a while, on repeat that is. I swear I feel like having sex everytime I hear "Love Song", and that's just how it should be. Now why can't all greatest hits albums be this perfect?

Pros: Great songs! Cons: None!
I keep this CD in my portable CD player to take to the gym. This is my favorite workout CD. If you have never listened to 311, you have to listen to this CD. Once you have, you will want all the others. The only thing that would have made this CD better...adding Champagne to it! It is an awesome mix of all their best work. It will keep you energized and wanting more!
