Pros: Three tracks are some great dance songs and a cameo by Ludacris. Cons: Not enough cameos (how often do you hear that!)Her voice just doesn't have the goodies.
Ciara seems to have taken the world by storm by riding the waves of crunk production and bringing a little bit of R&B. After finding myself enjoying "One, Two Step" I decided to check out the album by yet another Missy Elliot protege (AKA Missy's futile ...
Pros: Production; catchy; danceable; it's actually pretty decent. Cons: One word - Oh.
The musical atrocity known as crunk grappled the country in 2004 with hits from Usher, Lil Jon, and Petey Pablo dominating the airwaves. Later that year, crunk combined with R&B formed a whole new level of crappiness known as crunk&B, and from that rose ...
Pros: non-obnoxious crunk&b, likeable performer, a few stand outs, insane production, cohesion Cons: thin voice, not flattering material, tries to be something she's not
When someone in the music industry is revealed as either a former model or a current model (love you, Miss Tyra!), there immediately is a recoil among music purists, as if they don’t belong or they don’t have a right to make a record. While they may not ...
Pros: She's easy on the eyes.... Cons: Not much else
Whether it was funk bands who tried to prove that they could play rock (although, that one was done wonderfully) or rappers who decided to play sports (or vice versa), gimmicks are a dime a dozen in the music scene. Therefore, when I heard that there was ...
Pros: Tight beats decent yet clichéd songwriting killer dance moves Cons: doesn’t = a good album if you have no vocal skills
Unless you’ve been living under a rock while locked inside your bedroom and you haven’t turned on the television or radio for the past 2 years or so, as soon as I say the word crunk, you instantly know what I‘m speaking of. Crunk is that equal ...
Pros: Catchy hooks, soft melodic voice Cons: You might get bored listening to the first half of the album, Goodies
Very talented is this young, Texas born singer named Ciara. She has really nice vocals, even though I don't think that she uses it to the potential that she should be. Her funky style of singing only adds to the quality dance style she adds to the ...
Pros: a few catchy songs Cons: Ciara has no range; generic; cliche songwriting; it's so "now"
Ciara is this Crunk&B entertainer who burst in the music scene with her infectious single, "Goodies". And since then, she's been on the spotlight. It's not hard to see why: She's attractive, she can dance, and she can't sing. All the things that make ...
Pros: Some catchy songs, the first half of CD, not that long, producing, she’s gorgeous… Cons: Ciara’s weak voice, DONE TO DEATH, mushy ballads, stupid lyrics
In every 10 years, there is one female in R&B that blows everyone away with her amazing talent and her classic debut that makes history. She becomes a legend and is copied by everyone. Well… I’ll be disappointed to tell you that Ciara is not one of those ...
"Goodies" is the debut album by the Atlanta R&B sensation Ciara, who shot to fame with her single "Goodies" in 2004, and since there she has managed to pave the way for other R&B musicians from the Dirty South who have attempted to use the distinct Hip ...
As the so-called "first lady of Crunk&B," you'd think Ciara would be smart enough to fill those shoes with urban club bangers and high energy on her debut album, Goodies. Ciara's music videos may do the title of the album justice but the ...
Pros: Ciara's crunnk & b style works very well Cons: Some songs just don't work for Ciara
Ciara Harris, better known as Ciara has taken the R&B world by storm with her IMMPRESSIVE debut album, Goodies. Ciara creates a different sound for all of us R&B lovers out there and her goodies satisfys our appetite. I mean the album isn't an OH MY GOD, ...
Pros: Is full of catchy songs to cut a rug to. Cons: There are no cons, unless you hate dancing, and a couple of slow jams.
Rumbling horns and skittering drumlines bring to mind the celebratory spirit of the south, while thick drawls and grilled teeth represent the south's mainstream culture. With the major success of a pop-locking diva from Atlanta named Ciara, she is ...
Pros: great songs, usually good voice, good beats, Jazze Pha Cons: a little boring, sometimes weak voice
1) Goodies 4/5 Okay, we've all heard this. Ok, it's good...bottomline. 2)1,2 Step 5/5 One of my favs of the album, it's just a very hot dance track that WILL keep you moving. 3)Thug Style 4/5 Good song. A bit slower than I'd like, but hey, it's ...
Pros: Goodies...Goodies Remix & Two Other Songs With Nice Beats Cons: Lyrics, vocal ability, originality
The fact that I am constantly attempting to purchase music from people that sound "different" is what disturbs me the most. Different is not always good and people that are less gullible than myself probably already know this. There is nothing good ...
This Is Definetly Not Goodies by ashlees ,Sep 01 '05
Pros: It had the songs,"Goodies, 1,2,Step, and Oh." Cons: Bad tune, pestering voice, and the whole beat.
I bought this c.d. thinking that there would be a ton of dance songs. When I heard it for the first time, I just heard nothing but crap and annoying slow background. There was nothing unique about Ciara's songs. I could've just downloaded her singles that I liked instead of spending $14 on this piece of junk. Do not buy this album, get something better, ANYTHING! Ciara has no beat and annoying non-sense making songs. I totally think this album would never make platinum.
Ciara is the latest crunk sensation from across the Atlantic, and the first female artist to take on the relatively new genre. Her debut album feature...More at Buy.com Marketplaces
