Pros: Some interesting guest appearances-most notably by Anthony Hamilton & Tim McGraw. Cons: These appearances can't make up for the fact that Nelly is soulless, anonymous and forgettable.
Forget Jay or 50. If you're speaking in terms of true commercial success, the hottest rapper around (Eminem excepted) is St. Louis' Nelly. In the grand tradition of most gazillion-selling rappers, Nelly's had amazing success (over 7 million sold of each ...
Pros: The production, melodies, vocals, guests and raps. Cons: Tim McGraw?
Nelly brought his A Game with his harder edged Sweat now he serves up his refined, romantic slow jamz side with Suit (For a more detailed introduction to both of these records check out my ...

To Read My Review on Sweat Doing a classic double album in hip-hop is no easy task. 2pac and The Notorious B.I.G., two of the most overrated rappers ever, attempted it and didn't get anything higher ...
Pros: All 11 tracks...well except for one... Cons:WoodGrain And Leather Wit A Hole
Nelly- the definition of him is a rapper who has mad skills to rap and rap good I might add! He's has tons of skills but aren't too hardcore like Ja Rule or 50 Cent. With his two CDs(Suit and Sweat) in 2004 that came out ...
Pros: Nelly finally tries some introspection... Cons: While attempting to pull the wool over his listeners' eyes
Looks like I was wrong about "Sweat" (don't get me wrong, it's still atrocious) in relation to this trite garbage.... While S

Pros: Fantastic music, some luvly tunes Cons: Not to everyone's taste, I can sometimes get bored of it!
This album is quite old, being release back in 2004, at least it feels old, I do own albums older, but that is not the point. Anyway, if you are completely unaware of Nelly and his genre of music – then you sound like my dad! – then I will introduce ...
Pros: Good beats, plenty of guest appearances, R&B sounds from a predominately hip-hop star. Cons: Some beats and choruses get repetitive, not many Cons though.
When you think of Nelly, you think of hits such as Country Grammar, E.I., and Air Force Ones, among others. This album has no such songs. When coming up with the idea of a double CD for his new solo project, Nelly has hit a home run. While the ...
"Suit" is the second half of a double album by Nelly released in 2004. It has him work in his smoother form, with music which is more R&B-like, than suited to rap. This means that you have a choice with Nelly's music, whether you enjoy his grittier ...
Pros: A couple decent songs. Cons: Not very impressive other songs.
I bought both Sweat and Suit from Walmart the other day. About $20 for both. I figured it was a good deal. After listening to Suit about 3 times through, I wasn't very impressed. It was not as good as Nelly's last album. Nothing on this album was very catchy. I wouldn't recommend it. Seemed like a desperate attempt to come up with songs to fill 2 albums and therefore make more money.
I thought Suit was better than Sweat. The Tim Mcgraw song wasn't bad.
The other side of Nelly...I Like it! by mkber ,Jan 27 '05
Pros: More smooth, R&B style with some funky beats Cons: None
I have been a Nelly fan for a few years and bought this after hearing "Over and Over" on the radio a couple times. It is definitely a departure from the usual Nelly and for sure softer and less rap, but I LOVE it. It's a nice change for Nelly and although I love the tougher, more hardcore stuff, this diversion from the usual is fine by me~
Over the course of his short career Nelly has produced 3 Multi-Platinum albums that have not only catapulted him into world-wide fame, but established...More at Buy.com Marketplaces
