This CD is priceless in my opinion, because it has some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard.

I put in in the player, closed my eyes and let the music flow into me, moving with the rhythm. I entered another plain of existence.

The voices of the singers are so perfect and they blend so well together that it is easy to lose yourself in the music.

I've never been a fan of opera, but these four men were all opera singers and someone had the good sense to put them together for an awesome combination.

Not only are they all wonderful singers, but they are all as handsome and well-built as models. It doesn't hurt to have good looks on your side.

Listen to them once and you'll be hooked.

I bought Il Divo's first CD on a whim at a bookstore. I'd seen Simon Cowell introduce this group on Oprah. I thouroughly enjoy listening to this CD. I agree with a previous review(er) that "Mama" the second track on the CD is sappy. Mama is the featured music video on the Il Divo website; a poor choice, I felt, to promote their CD. I found the songs with English lyrics not as enjoyable, even annoying, and moved to the next song. My taste in music is eclectic and I wouldn't know a good tenor from a poor one.

Josh Groban has a fantastic voice and, I think, would be wise to take a hint from Il Divo and move to more popular tunes. I think Il Divo's voices and harmonizing is just fine. For those who shy away from opera. this music doesn't qualify as opera, the tunes are more modern and memorable. The enjoyment of this CD is both in the modern tunes, and in their voices.

I gladly fit into Simon Cowell's target audience because I look forward to Il Divo's second CD, I believe it is to be released this month, November 2005.

I am a classically trained singer who has grown up in a pop world, so it suits my sensibilities perfectly. Anyone who enjoys the beauty of music will enjoy this album. My only criticism would be that they need more upbeat selections. Too many slow, romantic songs at once gets tiresome. Someone from whom they could take a tip is Andrea Bocelli who has the perfect mix on his Amore album. But IL DIVO is still new as a group and i will be interested to see how they grow musically. Imagine what is to come if this glorious effort is just the beginning...

I suggest to pop the CD into your car or ipod and enjoy it in bits. By the way, check out their videos if you haven't already. The videos made me enjoy the music even more... besides the boys being beautiful, the videos are aesthetically pleasing and have a classic, old world style. Makes you want to travel to Europe!

While I'm not an opera fan, this CD was very relaxing and much different than I expected. It wasn't like the fat lady singing or anything like that. The sounds were very relaxing and with familiar tunes, it makes for a great change of pace. If you like soft mellow music, this is one of the better bands out there.

Il Divo is wonderful! Granted, their harmony is not the greatest, but they are so wonderful! What's better then having four young sexy men seranading you! There is Urs (Swiss) who is my personal favorite in the hottie category. He has a unique spice in his tenor voice. I love you, Urs! Carlos(Spainard) has one of the most sexist voices I have ever heard next to Josh Groban(Yes, I am a proud Grobanite). David(American), man, I would love to hear his falscetto! What a tenor! I wonder what him and Andrea Bocelli would sound like. Sebestien(French) is so cute! He also has a neat voice. The four mean are extremly talented, however, because their voices are so very different and unique and beautiful and amazing(I can go on) they do not have the best harmonizing together. I do think Urs and Carlos sound excellent together. They should sing David Foster's song(my all time favorite song in the universe) The Prayer. If you love classical/opera music, you will surely enjoy Il Divo. They should have been found years ago!
