Repetitive but awesome
by sagan69 ,Jul 12 '05
Pros: The "Maven" is awesome!!! Its a whole new style. Cons: repetitive beats. I like some of Sasha's more complex works better.
I would classify this album as experimental. Obviously, this is what Sasha has been up to in the club scene, and people are diggin it. He uses an alternative to turntables, using a new machine called the Maven. Its a very interesting device. If you buy the album, inside the cover, there is some more info on it.
I liked the melody, but it lacked some of the energy that I was hoping to hear.
Overall I'd still give the album a good rating. Its Sasha for one thing, and if you like Sasha, you'll give this album a fair chance.

WOW!! just what fans ordered...
by vertigox ,Jun 04 '05
Pros: Everything!!! Cons: only that it wasnt a double CD (I just can't get enough Sasha)
I've been listening to fundacion (promo) since yesterday and its a complety amazing mix... What else can we expect from Sasha? Only the Best!
Ok, like always, Sasha's intro is truly unique, pretty
sci-fi-out-of-this-world-techo-deep-space stuff... (now i know that hes a modest DJ)
after that, the first track is one of the best, smooth mix with a nice beat. I was surprised of many not so old tracks that were included, like: "Closer Musik - One, Two, Three", the mix is very cool. This track was on afterhours v2, but in its original form. Also, as sasha's excellent taste, he made a mix of M83, this new electro-pop band that's gaining fame in the industry.
Overall, I cant wait till the album is out.
I only hope for sasha's tour visiting my city.
BUY IT !!!
